There seems to be new brush setters coming out all the time and today we have a new one from Kose for use Yokomo Max motors. Coming in anodised blue, it looks almost identical to the version released last month by Much More, and as expected it does all the things you expect a brush setter to do. Coming with a 7.8mm cutter it allows you to cut your brushes in 0.0, 0.3 & 0.5mm offsets.

OFNA Racing have introduced a new addition to their range of chargers with the introduction of the OFNA Digipeak 3. Suitable for charging NiMH and NiCd as well as LiPo cells, this AC/DC powered unit is very affordably priced compared to similarly equipped chargers. Suitable for charging 1-14 cell NiCd and NiMH batteries and 1-4 cell LiPo batteries, the rate can be adjusted in 0.1A increments between 0.3A – 5A, while the 2-line / 16 character LCD display keeps you informed of what is happening. The Digipeak 3 also features a 2-amp discharger.

We wrote about Japanese brand Trion having released this cooling fan and heatsink combination a while ago, well now it comes available in 3 different colours – blue, red, purple and of course the original silver colour. The product itself still does the same thing – an aluminium heatsink for around your 540 type motor and a fan to take away the hot air. This particular version has a motor that rotates at 10,000rpm with the fan able to be mounted in 3 different positions on the heatsink.

Team Checkpoint have announced the release of 2 new versions of this alumminium carry case, one for holding your batteries and one type for your motors. These great looking cases feature a durable aluminum exterior with rounded corners and securely locking latches, while inside is high-density foam that cushions and protects contents from damage. The battery case has cutouts for holding up to 12 packs while the motor case is designed to hold 8 motors and 4 armature tubes and includes two compact 6-compartment boxes for holding small parts such as motor springs, brushes, shims and hardware.

Venom have released a number of new products today, including this battery assembly jig that features an innovative spring-loaded adjustable battery bar holder with an integrated foam pad to assist in keeping the cells securely in place for easy and accurate soldering every time. Also new are some great looking power plugs which are a unique male/female bullet plug, with silver plated connectors and easy solder tabs, that is easy to use and eliminates the possibility of a reverse polarity connection. Venom have also released some new battery bars which are made from oxygen free copper and then silver plated to ensure the best conductivity with minimal power loss. The “V” tab design provides more surface area contact for a stronger, more efficient battery connection. And finally are some silver plated bullet tabs that are designed with a unique bullet tab plug, to make quick solder-less battery changes and soldering to a battery cell easier and stronger.

Team Luna 23T motor Yokomo spec

Team Luna Glory 23T motor by Yokomo

A few weeks ago we showed you the Glory Kaiser 23T Super Stock motor from Team Luna, one of many new 23T motors to hit the market recently, and today comes the release of a similiar motor from Team Luna, but using Yokomo parts, including the special Yokomo endbell. This motor gives good overal power and features a balanced rotor, the brushes are held more accurately in place thanks to the new end bell, and along with some other small changes this JMRCA approved motor is 20% more efficient than the original version. Also new from Team Luna is the release of a new brush setter, with cutter, for this motor as well as a new black twin Schottky diode with cooling fins, a new colour addition to those released previously from Team Luna.
