Trinity have announced their new DUO line of brushless motors which have been designed to be completely speed control friendly. These motors have been designed with connections for both sensor and sensorless speed controls and will work equally well with either style. You are no longer limited to motor choice because of the type of speed control you already own. Available in 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 turn versions, expect to see them in July.

Novak 3A High-Voltage Universal BEC

Novak 3A High-Voltage Universal BEC

This product was released earlier in the week but we didn’t get around to writing about it then and so here it is today. Novak’s 3-Amp High-Voltage Universal BEC allows you to run higher voltage main battery packs, up to 26.4 Volts (4-22 Ni-MH Cells or 2-7 Li-Po), and regulates output to 6 Volts/3Amps to provide consistent power to your electronics throughout the charge. It is ideal for applications that use higher main battery pack voltage above 12 or more volts in the main battery pack due to the fact that most speed control BECs have difficulty handling more then 8.4 volts input.

LRP Vector X11 4T Brushless motor

LRP Vector X11 4T Brushless motor

We briefly mentioned yesterday that Nosram had released the 4 turn version of their Storm brushless motor, well today its the turn of sister company LRP to make the same announcement with the release of their Vector X11 4T modified brushless motor. As with the other low turn versions of this motor it features sintered rotors and the X11 utilises a sensored system that ensures the motor has the same linearity and smooth feeling as brushed systems.

The new 4.0T Vector X11 motor is the new 1/10 TC Modified Specialist and is used by LRP’s TC Modified Superstar Ronald Völker on most tracks. The 4.0T motors gives the advantage of nearly the same power as the 3.5T version but with a better efficiency.
