Team Luna Glory 23T motor

With the creation of a stock racing class in Japan, there has been increasing manufacturer interest and recently we have seen quite a number of 23T motors released onto the market. This latest motor is from Team Luna, and its called the Glory Kaiser 23T Super Stock motor, and it looks very similar to all the previous releases we have seen. This particular motor, features a balanced rotor, an adjustable brush angle, 6 blade cooling fan and is available in 2 versions, distinguished by its red or blue endbell finish, with either high torque or high top end revs, and all meet JMRCA regulations.

Powers Perfect Discharger

Powers International of Japan have released their own brand discharger, called suitably enough, the Perfect Discharger. This simple object plugs into your 4 to 8 cell battery pack, handling voltages of 4.8v to 9.6v, and discharges it at a rate of 1A and when the temperature gets too hot, it will automatically lower the discharge to 0.3A. When the pack is discharged it will automatically shut off and sound a beeper, as well as a light a built in LED, to tell you its done.

Much More LiPo receiver pack

Much More have released more products today, starting off with this 7.4V 300MAh LiPo receiver pack that comes complete with switch and plugs. As with all Much More LiPo’s these are equipped with high and low voltage protector circuit and you can charge them with any type of charger. Also announced today was the release of the version 3.2 of their Motor Master Platinum as well as the first information of the new tire balancer that we showed you some time back.

Much More Mini-Z stand & Rubber mounts

Much More have announced the details of their newly released Mini-Z car stands as well as their new motor armature holders. The Mini-Z stands have been made from a thick clear plastic and come in 3 base colours, black, blue and purple, and are very flat, perfect for setting up your car. Also new from Much More are these new extras for the armature holders we showed you in March. Available seperately or with a 5 pack of tubes, these new rubber mounts fit into the tubes holding the armature more securly in place, thus protecting it from damage when in your tool box.

Venom Group have been in touch to inform us about their new range of batteries, suitable for many different applications. First up we have the massive capacity 5000MAh 7.2v stick pack which is built using the latest Quad Welding technology for superior strength and optimum power and comes pre-fitted with a standard Tamiya type connector. Next up is Venoms new line of 2 Cell LiPO Rx Battery Packs that are 33% lighter than most conventional NiMH packs and are a perfect replacement for flat and hump packs in most installations. Also available are some high capacity 1600MAh receiver packs in conventional flat and hump packs and finally, Venom also announced that all their SC battery packs will soon be available with Traxxas new High Current Connector for use with their Velineon Brushless Power System.

Stock touring may be a young class in Japan but is growing and the manufacturers are taking note. Following on from this weeks release of stock motors by Kyosho and Team Orion, comes this new 23T motor from Team Tectro. Meeting all class regulations as laid out by the JMRCA, this motor can easily handle the high power delivered by todays cells and thanks to a special coating the rotor can now withstand really high temperatures making it very durable.
