ProTek RC 2022 lithium battery lineup

ProTek RC have announced the launch of its 2022 lineup of high-quality lithium batteries, featuring 14 new battery packs. ProTek batteries support 1/8 scale, 1/10 scale, and 1/12 scale On- and Off-Road Racing, Oval Racing, Drag Racing and Rock Crawling. The 2022 ProTek RC battery line features increased capacity and enhanced life cycles while maintaining the power that ProTek lithium batteries are known to deliver. This year’s line has been rigorously tested by some of the fastest racers in the World and will be run exclusively by A Main Hobbies professional race team members Ryan Maifield, Spencer Rivkin, Ty Tessman, Adam Drake, Joe Bornhorst, CJ Jelin, Ryan Lutz, Tanner Denny and Kyle Turner. ‘ProTek batteries have advanced my racing to a new level. The current lineup has everything I need and more to compete at the highest level, so for ProTek to take another step forward is very exciting,’ states Maifield, the 2017 1/10 2wd and 4wd Off-Road IFMAR World Champion. R1 Wurks Volta line of motors

R1 Wurks have announced their all new Volta line of motors. The Volta motors lines up right next to their proven V21-S with 13.5, 17.5, 21.5 and 25.5 turn options. This motor produces a ton of punch, mid range and top end and its sleek can design is made for maximum cooling characteristics which helps with this motors efficiency during the longer runs. When testing these Volta Motors with team drivers, they were jumping triples that nobody else could consistently with minimal fade during the run. Sunpadow Platin series 4000mAh LCG shorty pack

Sunpadow has launched their Platin series 4000mAh LCG Shorty-Pack LiPo battery. Improved from their well known Gold 3800mAh LCG shorty pack, it has a low centre of gravity, ultra-thin and light weight competition-class battery developed for the 1/10 electric off-road and indoor TC modified class. The size is still 93x47x18.5mm and the weight is about 160g while the capacity has been increased over 6 percent. The extra power gives essential advantage during the last minute in the high level racing of modified classes.

PowerStar Sport 10.5T BK sensored brushless motor

From PowerStar comes this Sport 10.5T BK sensored brushless motor. A fairly standard package, the can has been machined from billet T6 aluminium. Internally, it uses high purity copper windings for maximum conductivity, high power solder tabs and has a replaceable rotor. It sports a dual sensor port, adjustable timing and is compatible with any sensored or sensorless speed controllers.

Maclan Racing have introduced the DRK 160+ TSR Edition, the only speed control designed and built by drag racers for drag racers. Surpass Hobby 390 Rocket RC Supersonic BL motor

Surpass Hobby has launched a new 390 Rocket RC Supersonic sensored BL motor for 1/12 and 1/14 offroad, monster trucks & crawlers. Available in four different turns, 8.5T, 10.5T, 13.5T and 17.5T they feature a sealed, dustproof and waterproof design. The case is made from high-strength 7075 aluminium for efficient heat dissipation while internally they have used US made copper wire winding to create extremely low internal resistance. The 390 motor of rocket RC can be disassembled and reassembled to facilitate cleaning and maintenance and effectively prolong its service life.

Ruddog RC215AC Dual Channel LiPo AC/DC Charger

The Ruddog RC215AC is a versatile, easy to use AC/DC charger for radio control enthusiasts looking for high performance in a small package. The proven RC215 charger has been combined with an internal power supply and its features were tweaked to provide even more power. As with the DC model, the two-channel charger can be used to charge various battery types, including up to 6S LiPos. Each channel now offers up to 350 W, and the balancer current has gone up to 1000 mA. The USB-C port output was increased to 3.25A. When accommodating the additional space required by the power supply, the design was revised to make the display easier to read on the pit table.
