SMD in the UK have added another new starter box to their currently line up, aimed straight at the person who is tired of pulling pull starts, this box has enough power from its 775 motor to get even the most stubborn engine started. It takes a 12v gel cell for the ultimate cranking power and economy and unlike many entry level boxes on the market this is fully enclosed protecting the mechanism and battery from the outside elements.

We have been contacted by SIIM Racing in Spain to announce the upcoming release of their new engine range called SIIM PGR. The Spanish brand will release 3 engine types, a SIIM PGR S12T for 1/10th touring, a SIIM PGR S21P for 1/8th on road and finally a SIIM PGR S21B for 1/8th buggy. These new engines have been tested for a long period of time to ensure the performance and quality are up to today’s high standards needed to rise the top at international races. Manufactured in Italy in collaboration with a prestigious engine builder, the SIIM PGR engine family will establish a new reference in the international market. Robitronic have released a number of engine maintenance parts in the form of new air filter foams, air filter oil and after run oil. First up are these turbo double air filters, which are perfectly cut and are used with high-quality oil that protect your engine from dangerous dust particles. The air filter sets are available in 2 formats of 6 pieces with 45ml Air Filter oil, or 12 pieces with 90ml Air Filter oil. Also available seperately is the high quality air filter oil, which thanks to its colour allows you to see the saturation when applied. Finally, Robitronic have released some After Run oil that comes in both 45ml and 90ml and when put into the engine helps prevent the engine internals from rusting when not being used between races.

Team Losi have released this Universal starter box that features a unique design for flexibility for multiple sizes, types and brands of vehicles. Merlin Racing fuels in Spain have announced that current Belgian 1/8th scale National Champion Robin D’Hondt has signed to use their products for the 2008 season. After an intensive test on the Roselare circuit, he was happy with the performance of the fuel and has decided to defend his National title using Merlin Fuel products. Despite his age Robin has achieved a lot on the track, winning the 2007 Belgian Championships as well as this years Benelux Cup and in 2006 he was a European Championship finalist in Oslo, Norway.

German brand Orcan have released these handy and useful exhaust mounting springs. Sold with tubing and collar, they allow you to mount your exhaust floating, thus reducing damaging vibrations and preventing resonance at high rpm. With other exhaust pipe mounts you would tighten the pipe to the wire with a grub screw, while with this system the pipe is sitting freely between 2 pieces of fuel tubing, while a collar mounted to the end of the spring prevents the exhaust coming off.
