Xray have released 2 different flywheel collars for use with the company’s XCA clutch used on the Xray NT1. Designed for use with the most popular motors, a 7mm version has been released for Novarossi-based engines while for Picco-based engines a 6mm version is available.

Carson Universal Starter box

Carson have released this starter box, which thanks to its design can achieve 3 different starter wheel orientations thus enabling it to be used with both gas circuit cars and buggies. The integrated 12V starter-motor provides effortless starting of 2.5 – 4.10 ccm glow engines, making the starting of 1:10 and 1:8 on-road as well as off-road vehicles much easier. Power is supplied from inside the metal box by either lead-batteries with 12 V / 7 Ah or two racing packs with 7.2 V (sold separately) or alternatively it can be powered externally by a car battery using the supplied power cable.

Spanish aftermarket parts maker Ultimate Racing have released this blue anodised flywheel tool. Featuring a laser etched Ultimate Racing logo, the tool helps you easily remove your cars flywheel by pulling it away from the crankshaft just by twisting the handle.

The engine sports an aluminum heat sink head combined with special factory tuning which makes this a more efficiently cooled .21 VZ-B V-Spec competition engine. The specially coated crankshaft features a precision ceramic bearing that greatly reduces friction, plus a Tungsten weight for added balance, while a double adjustment carb allows for ultra-fine tuning for demanding race conditions.

JP Racing have recently announced the release of their latest 1/8th buggy / truggy motor, the Eagle 21 B-7T. Developed to give you great performance, the new sleeve system and new exhaust port design ensures the best compromise between power and fuel consumption, something that Eagle engines are renowned for with many going more than 8 minutes on 1 tank. This engine has been assembled with high speed bearings with the front bearing featuring 2 rubber shields (in and out) protecting the engine against hard dust or water conditions and also a special closed main bearing. Eagle engines come in two versions, normal glow plug or turbo glow plug.

Fioroni Option Power Motors

Italian after market parts maker Fioroni has announced the release of two new 3.5cc buggy engines. Sold under the Option Power brand, these new motors look to be made by Picco, feature 3 port liners, ABC construction and come included with a previously released optional buggy cooling head as standard. The 2 versions differ in that the blue headed version bolts straight into a competition buggy and would utilize a starter box while the black headed version comes complete with a pull start attachment.
