Picco tease new nitro engine

Picco have released a first teaser image for of their forthcoming new nitro engine. The overall appearance of the engine indicates that it is very likely of .21 size, however it is hard to tell whether it is an off-road or on-road power plant with the size of the cooling head leaves us guessing towards a new on-road motor. Nevertheless, we will be bringing you more details as they surface.

Mx B4R Euro Evolution Edition nitro engine

Maxima Mx Europe have introduced their new B4R Euro Evolution Edition nitro off-road engine. Based on the popular B4R the Evolution Edition features a new low-friction back plate for mimimised internal friction and thus higher performance, a cooler running engine, improved mileage and increased parts life. The backplates are also available separately, and they can be customised with a name logo, in order to upgrade the first batch of B4R Euro engines.

Forfaster Veloce .21 buggy engine

Forfaster Racing from France have introduced their first ever .21 nitro buggy engine. The XRD-based long-stroke 3-port engine was developed for competition off-road racing and it features a hardened and silicone-filled crankshaft, a 2-needle carburettor, steel ball bearings as well as a low-profile cooling head with a rubber-sealed combustion camber insert. It is available separately or including a Forfaster EFRA 2058 exhaust set.

ID.RC 3.5cc engine piston sleeve remover

Coming from ID.RC is a new piston sleeve remover tool for 3.5cc nitro engines. The tool is of a simple yet effective design as the inner screw-type part interlocks with the sleeve’s timing windows while the outer body braces itself against the upper portion of the crankcase. Sturdy knurled handles on both the screw insert and outer body allow to extract the sleeve with minimal force and without harming the sleeve or crankcase.

Ruddog 1/8th scale nitro offroad starter box

Ruddog have introduced their new 1/8th nitro off-road starter box that is of a universal design to cover all 1/8th off-road needs. Housed in a sturdy, black-coated aluminium case the heavy-duty starter box is powered by two 775-size motors with the durable belt-driven starter wheel allowing for an easy and convenient start of both run-in and also brand-new nitro engines. The starter box was developed for the use with two 2S LiPo battery packs and it comes pre-wired with T-type connectors. Highly adjustable stopper cones allows to adapt the starter box to pretty much every 1/8 scale off-road chassis. Laser-etched Ruddog logos and a handle with glow igniter holder round out the package.

TopRC Grand Prix 16 on-road fuel

TopRC have announced the release of their new Grand Prix 16 nitro on-road fuel. Made in Italy and developed with the help of multiple national and former European champion, Jernej Vuga the blend uses a completely new formula for extreme performance which is made possible thanks to a new generation oils. The fuel also ensures more stabile engine operation over a longer time while lowering engine temperatures thanks to less friction on moving parts. The fuel comes in 2 litre cans and it is usable for 1/8th and 1/10th scale competition racing alike.

Ielasi Tuned introduce more Evo engines

Ielasi Tuned have announced three new Evo series engines that round out the recently introduced all-new silver colour Evo line of engines. The Raptor.12Evo 2.1cc on.road, Hummer.21Evo 3.5cc off-road and Raptor.21 5Evo GT engine all are developed by former IFMAR World Champion, Daniele Ielasi and they feature small internal modifications to the crankcases, the DLC-treated crankshafts and piston sleeves in order to extract the maximum performance from the power plants. The engines use ceramic rear bearings to further up the performance and increase mileage and they are available from now on.
