Revolution Design Ultra Flyheight Tool

Revolution Design Ultra Flyheight Tool

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the Ultra Flyheight Tool for 1/8th off-road vehicles. Made from aircraft-quality 7075-T6 aluminium the tool incorporates a flywheel tool, a clutch gap gauge and a ride height gauge. The shape of the tool allows to securely fasten 3-pin and 4-pin flywheels while fastening the clutch nut and therefore it is the ideal combination with the RDRP Ultra Flywheel Puller. Once the flywheel and the clutch bell are fitted the axial play can be measured and adjusted using the clutch gap gauge. A stepped slot measures the axial clutch bell play between 0.3mm and 0.9mm in 0.1mm increments. On top of that helps to measure the chassis ride height in a range of 20mm up to 40mm by simply placing the tool underneath the chassis plate. 1mm increments make for a precise adjustment while the black anodising and white laser-etched markings give the tool a factory look.

Revolution Design Ultra Flywheel Puller

Revolution Design Ultra Flywheel Puller

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the Ultra Flywheel Puller. The tool is designed for most 1/8th clutches and helps to separate the flywheel from the crankshaft without any damage. By clamping the black anodised aluminium fork behind the flywheel and turning down the shaft the flywheel is pulled away from the crankshaft without harming the flywheel, the crankshaft or the tool itself. The tool is also equipped with a 10mm nut driver that is ideal to tighten the clutch nut after fitting the flywheel. Both the black anodised 7075-T6 aluminium fork and the high quality spring steel shaft sport the RDRP logos for a factory look and easy identification.

Novarossi Vir-Tus .21 offroad & .12 onroad engines

Novarossi Vir-Tus .21 offroad & .12 onroad engines

Novarossi have introduced their new engine line for 2014, headed by their new Vir-Tus .21 off road and .12 onroad engines, joining last year’s .21 onroad engine release. The key development of the Vir-Tus over their previous engines is the patented shifted carburetor which sees the carburetor opening mounted to the crankcase off centre to the crankshaft which helps create a better mixture flow inside the engine which in turn improves the fuel efficiency. Other updates seen on both motors are the new main bearing that reduces the inertia of the rotating masses and increase scavenging, new cooling head mounted with 6 screws for a better seal and new balanced crankshafts with the .12 sporting a larger diameter connecting pin. The .21 offroad has 7 ports while the .12 is a 3 port engine, both coming with ceramic main bearing and steel front bearing as standard.
