Picco P-Max .21 Revo & T-Maxx nitro engine

Picco introduce their new P-Max .21 nitro engine for the Traxxas Revo and T-Maxx. The newly designed engine features a more efficient cooling head, a knife edge shaped connecting rod, silicone-filled crankshaft and a new crankshaft timing making for improved power output comparable to the larger .26 and .28 engines. The engines that was developed in cooperation with Picco-Torque U.S. distributors Kevco Racing easily adapts to Traxxas’ Easy Start and pull start engines and it features a 3-port hard-chromed liner, CNC-machined billet piston, a turbo combustion camber insert and a 13mm main bearing.

Orcan RS7-MH & RS3-MH on-road engines

Orcan introduce two new nitro on-road engines in the form of the .21 RS7-MH and the .12 RS3-MH. Starting with the 1/8th scale engine, the RS7-MH was specially developed for the use with 16 percent nitro fuel in order to create higher torque while offering better millage at the same time. Each engine comes hand-tuned to ensure the highest and most reliable performance level by thoroughly modifying the liner and piston, crankshaft and crankcase. The 7-port engine comes in a handy storage and transportation bag with zipper and Orcan logo.

Shepherd premium engine oils

A new range of high-quality premium oils for nitro applications is available from Shepherd. First up is an after run oil specially developed for the use with nitro engines. It keeps the internal engine parts lubricated and protected from oxidation and excessive wear when storing the engine or starting it from cold. It is recommended for the use after every racing day and before storage. The second new product is the sticky air filter oil that protects the engine from dust and dirt. It allows enough air to flow through the filter while airborne particles adhere to it ensuring an optimised combination of protection and performance. Both oils come in handy 50ml bottles.

Picco Boost 5TR Team Spec .21 offroad engine

Picco have announced their Boost 5TR Team Spec .21 offroad engine. This new version of the already proven Picco Boost 5TR has the same incredible reliability, fuel mileage and ease of tuning but now offers even more performance and features at an incredible value. The 5TR Team Spec has a new 14mm balanced and silicone filled crankshaft to improve overall performance, a larger more efficient cooling head, a new crankcase design allows more clearance for different flywheels, a super strong “knife edged” aerodynamic connecting rod, lightened CNC machined piston from high percentage silicone alloy billet and a ceramic “Swiss” made rear bearing tops off the list of all the high end features. FX Engines exhausts & glow plugs

FX Engines introduce two new exhaust pipes as well as a range of turbo glow plugs. Starting with the pipes, available soon are the high RPM EFRA 2100 and high torque EFRA 2108 pipe, both come with a hard-chrome plating for a long life and laser-etched homologation numbers for easy identification. The multi-camber pipes come without manifold but FX Engines will also offer suitable short, medium and long variants soon. Made not only for the FX engine range but all other turbo engines are the new X3 to X8 turbo-style glow plugs. The come in several heat grades for low (X3) up to high temperatures (X8).

Hobby Pro 32mm flywheel

New from Hobby Pro USA comes this CNC-machined and hard-anodised 32mm flywheel. It features polished steel flywheel pins that are extremely high pressure fitted and provide extremely smooth clutch action. The flywheel’s design and shape provides reduced surface area which prevents the clutch shoes from hanging up making for improved reliability.

Designed for swift and easy bearing insertion, the set allows to safely mount a variety of main bearing sizes including 11.5, 12, 13, 14, 14.2 and 14.5mm ball races. Also front bearings can be installed with ease and without having to fear any damage to the bearings or crankcase. The tool set comes in a handy storage case including comprehensive manual.
