Sirio have released their XL3 tuned .21 engine for 1/8th buggy and truggy classes. The 3 port motor features hand tuned liner, crankcase and crankshaft, which has been lightened. A modified piston helps improve performance further while the lightened cooling head helps lower the centre of gravity. The engine comes supplied with carburetor with 7mm venturi and bushing system to avoid overheating and ceramic Swiss main bearing.

The “Ielasi tuned” Sonic V.21T is the top of the line version of the 3.5cc on-road engine hand-modified by former World and European Champion Daniele Ielasi. Years of experience and a great passion for nitro racing allow the Sonic factory driver to make a good product even better. The crankshaft has an more aggressive timing for an improved performance while maintaining a very efficient fuel consumption realized by an optimized fuel flow. Reds Racing has designed and developed a completely new manifold line for On Road and Off Road engines. The new line of manifolds is provided with a cooling system, efficient and lightweight, which helps improve engine gasket life, to maintain engine performance over time. Polished both inside and outside, they are delivered with exhaust gasket and springs. The new conical 1/8 On Road manifold is available in three different lengths M, L, XL to fit any kind of track and are matched with the Reds 2069 muffler. The single bend Off Road manifold is available, in addition to the standard version M, in a new version S and are matched with both Reds 2069 and 2034 mufflers.

Designed especially for club and regional racers the 5-port engine is easy to tune and features a CNC-machined flat piston, optimised crankcase, knife edged connecting rod and turbo combustion camber insert. Other features include a 14mm high-quality main bearing, composite material carburettor with 8mm venturi insert, and lightweight cooling head.
