Reedy RT5012A HV digital competition 1:8 servo

Reedy’s new RT5012A HV digital competition 1:8 servo is perfect for 1:8 buggy and truggy racers who seek the ultimate combination of performance and durability. With input from the Reedy racing team, they’ve equipped the RT5012A with a powerful brushless motor that creates incredible torque and speed, carefully tuned for maximum drivability, and suitable for both steering and throttle applications. An advanced microprocessor provides precision steering and throttle control, resulting in more consistent and faster lap times. An all-metal gear set is designed for strength and durability while a CNC-machined full-aluminium case reduces operating temperatures for fade-free operation. Because the RT5012A features HV compatibility, LiPo-HV RX batteries can be used to take full advantage of the RT5012A’s capabilities.

Bittydesign ZL21 1/10 No Prep drag racing body shell

Bittydesign have introduced their long teased ZL21 1/10 No Prep drag racing body shell. Making reference to the American iconic muscle car when designed the lines of the ZL21 the final body shell features a breathtaking ‘Outlaw’ look designed for going fast. During the design they thought of every possible detail and so this led them to produce a variety of parts that complete the racing and realistic look of the ZL21 and aid in performance. These include the rear wing (extension) to improve and clean the air turbulence generated in the rear, two different exhausts to give a realistic look and finally a front splitter to create a more aggressive appearance, as well as help increase front end stability. The body shell was designed on AE DR10 chassis but can also be mounted on Losi 22S chassis No Prep Drag, Traxxas Slash 2wd Drag Car & Traxxas Drag Slash 1/10. Made with high quality and genuine 1mm thick polycarbonate Lexan, the kit includes a complete set of screws, nuts and washers necessary for correct fixing of the additional parts.

Yokomo BD10F competition FWD touring car

Yokomo have introduced their new BD10F competition FWD touring car, which utilises the components from their BD10 touring car and realises the optimum weight distribution for FWD drive. The bulkhead and suspension arm are the same as the BD10LC, but it is a pure competition FWD touring car that has been converted to FWD by changing the main chassis and motor mount. The dedicated weights on the front and the position of the motor near the front ensure the traction required when accelerating. They have managed to eliminate the excessive steering response due to the weight increase, by changing the Ackerman ratio with the long bell crank. At the rear, in addition to the Axon shock that has a reputation for smooth operation, a mass damper that is simple but has a high effect of canceling vibration is adopted, and the rear grip is increased to prevent stall when cornering. Of course, there are some optional parts for BD10 that have been released so far that can be shared, and running costs can be reduced, including the sharing of consumable parts.
