Yeah Racing 60mm Shock-Gear shock absorbers

Based on their 50mm and 55mm Damper Gear shock absorber sets Yeah Racing have introduced the new, longer 60mm variants for 1/10th scale rally and off-road cars. The shock absorbers are of an all-aluminium design with threaded alloy shock bodies, alloy upper and lower shock caps as well as an alloy spring pre-load nuts. Other features include titanium-nitride coated piston rods and volume compensators and the shock come with an assortment of pistons in standard and V-hole variants to fine-tune the compression and rebound characteristics. The set, that includes a total of four shock absorbers, is rounded out by an assortment of springs and the dampers are available in grey or silver anodising.

Team Associated limited edition B5/B5M kit

Coming from Team Associated is a limited edition run of the rear motor B5 1/10th 2WD buggy including a B5M conversion kit. Based on the original B5 the kit includes all needed parts to convert the vehicle into a mid-motor B5M, including the main chassis, suspension and gearbox parts. Included is also the B5 bodyshell but the needed B5M body has to be purchased separately.

Reds Racing introduce new Quattro clutch front plates

Reds Racing have introduced two new front plates for the Quattro clutch system. They allow for more pre-tension on the springs and better snap, typically used in truggy applications. The plates are available in XH and XXH variants, adding to the already existing L and H plates. Reds Racing recommends to use the new Pre-Tension tool for an easier assembly of the clutch.

Tekno RC Stripe FlexFit hats

Coming from Tekno RC and adding to their new hat lineup are the Stripe logo hats. Sporting an embroidered Stripe logo across the front and the new “T” logo on the back the hats are of genuine FlexFit quality and they feature an elastic band that makes them very comfortable while fitting most head sizes. The Stripe hats are available in round and flat bill versions.

Bittydesign tease new 190mm touring car bodyshell

Italian company Bittydesign are currently teasing a new 190mm electric touring car bodyshell. The rough sketch leaves room for interpretation whether the body will mimic a full scale vehicle or if it will be modelled solely after the global body spec rules, but a second drawing, issued shortly after, shows that the body in question will sport some real “Italian” lines especially round the grille and headlight section. Yaiba Racing Yeti aluminium front C-hubs

Japanese company Tresrey have introduced the Yaiba Racing aluminium front C-hubs for the Axial Yeti and Exo kits. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming red or black anodised they replace the standard composite hubs with more durable parts. An additional dirt shield also improves the protection of the universal driveshafts from dust and dirt. The C-hubs are direct replacements and they come in sets of two.

Serpent announce new 1/8th electric RTR kits

During this week’s 2016 Beijing Hobby Show Serpent is displaying two forthcoming, electric-powered 1/8th scale RTR vehicles. Adding to the company’s impressive +30 cars line-up soon are the Cobra RTR E-Truggy and the Cobra RTR electric monster truck. More information on the 6S LiPo-compatible vehicles will become available in time for the release.

Xtreme Racing Optima carbon fibre option parts

Xtreme Racing have released a range of carbon fibre option parts for the Kyosho Optima re-release buggy in the form of a radio tray as well as front and rear shock towers. The radio tray is cut from 2mm carbon material and it replaces the standard fibreglass part with a better looking and more rigid solution. The plate matches the stock dimensions and it is a direct replacement. The front and rear shock towers are cut from 3mm material to replace the kit’s aluminium parts. The towers match the stock suspension geometry and they are available separately.
