Schelle TLR22 3.0 screws, bearings & chassis skin

Schelle Racing Innovations have a suite of new products available for the TLR22 3.0 buggy in the form of an upper titanium screw set, a ceramic bearing kit and a chassis protector skin. Starting with the 37-piece upper titanium screw set, it saves about 12 grams of weight and outfits a buggy minus the chassis bottom screws. The fasteners are made of Grade 5 titanium alloy with a bright machined finish to give the car that pure racing look. Next up is the Black Diamond series ceramic bearing set. It includes 14 ceramic bearings for all rolling axles and gearbox components to reduce drag to a minimum. Also included are 6 Onyx series bearings for the steering bellcranks and ball differential. Last but not last is the chassis protector skin set. It includes a pre-cut vinyl protector decal for the buggy’s aluminium chassis as well as two additional replacement rear skids. The skin, printed by UpGrade RC, will keep the chassis from becoming excessively scratched on abrasive surfaces.

Serpent SRX alloy diff pulley & 1.7mm swaybar

Serpent have new option parts for the SRX range of 1/10th off-road buggies available in the form of an aluminium 51T ball differential gear and a 1.7mm rear anti-roll bar. Starting with the diff gear, the part is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes hard-anodised to make for a low-wear surface. It improves durability when running low-turn modified motors by replacing the standard composite gear. Also new is the 1.7mm rear anti-roll bar wire. The thickest yet, the anti-roll bar is best used on very high-bite surfaces in order to limit chassis roll in corners.

AKA Crosslink 2.2″ buggy tyre

AKA Crosslink 2.2" buggy tyre

AKA have released a first image of the forthcoming Crosslink 2.2 buggy tyre. The Crosslink shares the same carcass design as the Chainlink 2.2 and also some of the key bar design in the Chainlink, however the Crosslink is not as dense of a tread design as the Chainlink which allows it to work slightly better when the tracks are dustier. Also with the tread being more exposed this speeds up the break-in process which is necessary for optimum performance. The tyre is scheduled for a February release.
