Exotek Exo22T mid motor chassis set

Exotek have introduced the Exo22T mid motor chassis conversion kit for the TLR 22T and mid motor converted 22T 2.0 stadium trucks. With its simple and efficient layout, the Exo22T offers improved rearward weight positioning of the battery and electronics to better suit a variety of track conditions. The chassis allows standard inline shorty battery positioning or the easy to drive side ways mounted shorty battery installation. Included in the set is a black anodised 2.5mm 7075 alloy chassis with 5mm carbon side rails for proper stiffness and strength. Pocket milling in the chassis lowers the battery and speed controller for a lower overall centre of gravity while the included carbon LiPo strap also acts as a top plate. The LiPo strap is fastened to the rear alloy brace and two alloys posts and part of the package is also a machined 7075 alloy nose plate that is used for durability while allowing for inexpensive chassis swaps.

Blitz VSR 200mm touring car bodyshell

Coming from Team Titan and made for 200mm touring cars is the VSR bodyshell. Designed with an emphasis on front end grip the body will still offer a stable and balanced feel that can be tweaked using the supplied rear wing that offers two different trim lines to make for easy aerodynamic tuning. The body is available in a regular weight 1.0mm and a lightweight 0.8mm variant and it includes window masks and a decal sheet.

PR Racing S1 V3 lightweight chassis

PR Racing USA have introduced the all-new lightweight aluminium chassis for the S1 V3 2WD buggy. Lightweight yet rigid the chassis is made from high-quality gun-metal anodised aluminium and it sports carbon fibre insets to reduce the overall weight by 30 grams. The chassis is a direct fit and ideal for all applications where a low weight is needed such as in spec motor classes.

Xray T4 graphite floating servo mount

Xray have introduced the graphite floating servo mount for the T4’15 and T4’16 cars. Machined from high-quality carbon fibre the plate allows to run the car’s steering assembly in four different configurations to alter the flex characteristic of the front part of the chassis. Beside the kit standard, with the steering bellcranks mounted to the chassis, the bellcranks can also be attached to the floating servo mounting plate so chassis flex does not longer has influence the steering angle. The latter makes the car easier to driver in high-traction conditions and on very bumpy tracks. To further alter the flex settings of the chassis, Xray #302570 steering plate can be used to connect the bellcranks with the servo mounting plate when run in standard configuration. Included with the carbon fibre plate come short aluminium standoffs for the floating steering system and more information on the available flex settings can be found here.

Absima 1/8th buggy wheel sets

German company Absima have new wheel sets for 1/8th buggies available. First up is a tyre called Dirt that features a massive multi-surface tread to tackle a wide range of track conditions and surfaces such as asphalt, dirt, grass and more. The tyre sports a 117mm diameter and a width of 40mm and it comes pre-glued on black disc rims compatible for virtually all 1/8th buggies out there. Also new are two sand paddle tread tyres of different shape. The larger tread comes pre-glued on black rims while the finer tread is mounted to while 5-spoke wheels. The tyres are ideal for bashing in the snow and sand.

HPI Baja 5B Flux Ultimate Power Pack set

Coming from HPI Racing and made for the Baja 5B Flux large scale buggy is the Ultimate Power Pack set. Included are two softcase 14.8V 5300mAh 60C LiPo battery packs that snuggly fit into the buggy’s tough plastic battery box. The packs come pre-wired with T-type connectors and also included is a suitable jumper wire. Despite fitting into other vehicles HPI strongly recommend to use the batteries only in cars with battery boxes to not leave them unprotected from the elements.

VBC Racing LightningF alloy steering knuckles

VBC Racing have released a set of optional aluminium steering knuckles for the LightiningF and FX formula cars. Machined from high-quality 7075 material and coming gun metal anodised the parts provide smoother kingpin travel, and they improve rigidity and durability of the front end. The knuckles must be used in conjunction with the company’s new hardened steel front axles but apart from that they are a drop fit for the F and FX kits.

Brilliant RC synthetic felt pit mat

From Brilliant RC comes a unique pit mat made from a highly compressed synthetic felt. Making it very impact and temperature resistant the mat brings a new clean look into the pits thanks to the matt black colour on which dirt is less visible than on bright coloured pit mats, resulting in a clean look of the table. Furthermore the surface prevents small parts like screws, pins, balls etc. from rolling away. With a size of 50x98cm the mat fits perfectly into a standard pit area while the soft material allows to roll the mat for easy storage and transportation.
