Hitec D-series 32-bit high-performance servos

New from Hitec come the D-series 32-bit high-performance digital servos for a range of 1/8th and 1/10th scale applications. Combining high-resolution and ultra-response technology with a 32-bit MCU and 12-bit ADC for programmability and flexibility, these servos are meant to deliver significantly smoother movement. The speedy, powerful line operates on a wide 4.8 to 8.4 voltage range, allowing use with any common battery chemistry without the need for adapters or regulators. The dual ball-raced coreless motor servos come in several specifications, as are the titanium gear D-980TW (0.14s/44kg-cm), D-950TW (0.14s/35kg-cm), D-945TW (0.10s/23kg-cm), and D-940TW (0.06s/16.5kg-cm). Also available are the metal geared D-645MW (0.17s/13kg-cm) and the D-625MW (0.13s/10kg-cm). All sport industry standard dimensions with the 9-series servo featuring a heatsink middle case while the 6-series servo sporting a plain mid section.

Radtec narrow 4mm turnbuckle wrench

Coming from Radtec is a narrow 4mm turnbuckle wrench. Machined from spring steel and sporting laser-etched markings for easy identification the wrench comes in handy especially when adjusting the camber links on pan cars as the narrow design does not interfere with the ball cups and inner camber arms.

NSquared Bocomolich tyre additive

NSquared have released their new Bocomolich tyre sauce. Containing special chemicals and additives the traction compound will enhance grip, durability and handling of the tyres with the product coming in metal cans with a dauber cap for secure storage and easy application.

Hiro Seiko T4’16 & X12’16 lightweight screw sets

Hiro Seiko T4'16 & X12'16 lightweight screw sets

Hiro Seiko have introduced a range of optional screw sets for the T4’16 and X12’16 on-road kits. Starting with the T4 sets, they include selected screws for the 2016 specification kit and they are available as titanium or mixed titanium and aluminium set. Included are 98 hex screws and using the kits scrubs between 18g and 23g of weight while adding bling at the same time. Also new are two respective sets for the X12’16 1/12th scale pan car. Containing 48 screw each they save about 9.8g to 12g of weight with the mixed set being the lighter one due to the included alloy screws.

Tamiya Motul Autech GT-R & Mazda Roadster

Tamiya have two new 1/10th scale on-road kits available in the form of the Motul Autech GT-R on the TT-02 chassis as well as the Mazda MX-5 Roadster, based on the M-05 chassis. Starting with the GT-R, the car resembles last year’s Super GT GT500 class winner with the vehicle being based on Tamiya’s popular entry-level TT-02 4WD chassis. Included in the kit come a replica Nissan GT-R bodyshell, a comprehensive decal sheet as well as black rims and slick tyres and it will hit the stores at the end of November.

First look at the HB D2’16

First look at the HB D2'16

On display for the first time at this week’s IFMAR World Championships at the Yatabe Arena is the unique D2’16 from HB. Designed to be a versatile platform it is particularly good on loose surfaces on which it has done most of its development work and testing. While not the final chassis, the configuration is set and it allows for 8 different battery positions, 4 inline and 4 sideways positions. Massively adjustable it has 9 kick up options, 5 caster positions, 5 trailing arm positions as well as adjustable arm sweep, all without using additional parts.

Kimihiko-yano.net Blackhawk touch screen DC charger

Japanese brand Kimihiko-yano.net have introduced their all-new Blackhawk touch screen DC charger. The multi-chemistry charger is of very compact 102x120x46mm dimensions and it offers up to 20A charge and discharge current. The large LCD screen helps to monitor all of the important parameters with current and voltage can be displayed as a graph if desired. Furthermore the charger offers an internal balancer, 20 memory slots for individual battery setups as well as internal resistance measurement. On top of this the charger allows to charge the latest generation of high-voltage Lithium-Polymer batteries thanks to a Li-HV mode. The device is housed in a black aluminium case and it comes with a touch screen pen and an assortment of adapter wires.

JConcepts B5-series spring steel CVA set

JConcepts have introduced a new option part for the Team Associated B5 series of vehicles in the form of the spring steel CVA set with hex adaptors. The set is built for performance, durability and looks with the design being based around the HD 5mm axle diameter which is able to stand up to a rigorous demands of today’s racing. The bones have been machined of spring steel material for the ultimate in durability and performance and inserted with hardened steel pins on the drive ends. The aluminium pin barrels have a high tolerance fit and finish for smooth and quiet performance. The CVA kit fits the B5, B5M and B5M Factory Lite and it also includes light-weight, black anodised aluminium 12mm clamping style hex adaptors for a slide on fit to the HD axle. The advanced plating on the bones, axles and barrels also provide corrosion resistance and for more recognition, the JConcepts.net logo is etched onto each bone for identification and authenticity.
