Absima 17mm wheel hex sets & locknuts

Absima have new 17mm aluminium wheel hex and locknuts sets available. Starting with the hex adapters, they are machined from aluminium and fit most of today’s 1/8th buggies and GT cars. The hexes are of a lightweight design while the closed locknuts keep dirt and moisture away from the delicate thread section. The hex sets are available in a range of colours including black, blue and orange and they feature the signature Absima logo. Also new are self-locking 17mmm wheel nuts with a serrated back section for secure mounting. The aluminium nuts are available in the five colours of orange, blue, black, red and silver.

Capricorn TE03 Active Toe System

The latest company to introduce a (re)active rear toe system for their electric touring cars is Capricorn from Italy. Coming as a set for the LAB TE02 Evo and the TE03 the system allows to adjust the toe angle change of the rear suspension in different parts of the corner to allow for better rear stability or improved rotation and less understeer. The amount of toe change is adjustable using different amounts of shims under the inner and outer ball studs and the set included a redesigned motor and layshaft mount, new rear A-arms, alloy C-hubs and delrin bushings as well as a complete arrangement of mounting hardware. All parts are also available separately.

RSD Roche P12 floating servo conversion chassis

Reflex Racing have introduced the floating servo conversion chassis for the Roche P12 1/12th scale pan car. The conversion kit maintains the stock geometry of the P12, while adding optional holes to install longer Xray side links as well as Reflex Racing’s popular floating servo mount. On top of that the chassis is made from 2.5mm quasi isotropic carbon fibre, so it is more rigid than the kit version for more consistency in high-bite conditions.

The tool is made from high-quality aluminium, it comes gun metal anodised and machined to match Arrowmax’ signature honeycomb design. The ball-raced wheel adapter minimised friction for a high degree of accuracy when balancing your buggy wheels.

New from Team Associated are +2 degree graphite steering block arms for the RB8B3 and B3e buggy. These new arms increase the steering Ackermann of the vehicle, resulting in a smoother steering feel when compared to the standard steering block arm set. Made from quality woven-carbon fibre for strength, slight weight savings, and a factory look.

TLR SCTE 2.0 dogbone centre driveline set

Coming from TLR and made for the SCTE 2.0 4WD short course truck is the dogbone centre driveline set. The front- and rear center dogbones eliminate the friction of a CV coupler and reduce the bind caused after the front centre CV coupler wears. The set utilises shorter and lighter front and rear outdrives in the centre for faster acceleration and longer diff life with today’s power systems while also offering increased longevity due to bone float. The set is designed to fit the standard and -3mm chassis.

Absima have two new pre-glued tyre sets for 1/10th 2WD buggies available. First up is a dedicated front tyre with cut rib design that is suitable for a range of surfaces. Also new is a medium-size block tread tyre, good for the use on hard-packed or artificial surfaces. Both come pre-glued on black zero off-set rims with industry standard 12mm hex and they are sold as pairs.

Xray have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming XB2 2WD electric off-road buggy. In development for some time now the XB2 will be the company’s first purpose-designed 2WD buggy following the rear wheel-driven variant of the XB4 4WD buggy, a concept en vogue some time ago for racing on very high-bite surfaces.
