Exotek AE 5th generation option parts

Exotek have new option parts for the Team Associated 5th generation 1/10th off-road buggies and trucks available in the form of titanium front axles for the SC5M as well as aluminium shock parts for the 12mm big bore shocks. Starting with the wheel axles, the “Flite titanium front axles for Team Associated’s latest short course truck are precision machined, almost as strong as steel and they weigh in at only 5 grams per pair, compared to the 9.7 grams of the standard steel shafts. The axles reduce rotational mass as well as unsprung weight and they also add some visual impact when the wheels are off.

Avid B5 alloy steering bellcranks & servo mounts

Avid have introduced two new aluminium option parts for the Team Associated 5th generation 1/10th off-road vehicles. First up is an aluminium steering bellcrank set. These aluminium bellcranks eliminate flex in the steering system for maximum steering feel with the set being usable for all B5 based vehicles such as the B5/B5M, T5M and SC5M. The parts come machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, they are black anodised and sport silver edge highlights and each package includes one left and one right bellcrank as well as two aluminium crush tubes for the steering rack bearings.

TKO B5M carbon fibre slipper disc set

TKO have introduced a new carbon fibre slipper disc set for the Team Associated B5M buggy and others using the same size, such as the Yokomo YZ-2. Made from carbon ultra poly material to provide consistency, smoothness and feel, the carbon material makes for rapid heat dissipation and thermal stability without glazing and hot spots. The pads are virtually maintenance free, they come in sets of two and weight in at 0.7g.

WRC F-One 90T & 94T 64 pitch main gears

Italian company WRC have introduced new main gears for their F-One 1/10th scale formula pan car. Coming in 90T and 94T sizes the 64 pitch gears are of a lightweight design and they allow to use more diff balls than many of today’s gears for a smoother and more reliable diff action.

Vaterra Twin Hammers DT 1.9 Rock Racer RTR

Horizon Hobby have announced the soon release of the Twin Hammers DT 1.9 Rock Racer RTR vehicle. Based off of the proven Twin Hammers the DT variant will feature an updated bodyshell and a LED light bar for running at night. The rugged 4WD chassis features long travel suspension components like the ones found on full-scale rock racers, it comes with multi-surface beadlock wheels and tyres as well as factory-installed waterproof electronics. Included in the set is also a genuine Spektrum DX2E 2.4GHz radio system, a 2000mAh LiPo battery pack and a suitable wall charger.

Awesomatix A800 electric touring car – Teaser

Russian company Awesomatix have released a first teaser for their forthcoming A800 electric touring car. No details on the features or specifications are known yet but the car is meant to perform (even) better while having a lower price tag. It is understood that the kit will hit the stores this October. We bring you more information as we get them.

Intech BR-6 2.0 4mm lightweight aluminium chassis

Intech have a new lightweight aluminium chassis for the BR-6 2.0 and 2.0 Sport available. The 4mm thick chassis is made from 7075-T6 material and it sports excessive machining to reduce the overall weight while the design offers improved flex resistance. A hard-anodised finish for wear and a machined heatsink ribbing in the engine section round out the new main chassis plate.
