Ielasi Tuned GP9R & Dusty R .21 engines

Ielasi Tuned have introduced two new updates to their line of engines, the GP9R and the Dusty R. The most noticeable difference is the new grey cooling heads which going forward will be the colour the company adopts as its own. The GP9R has only had some small changes to this already reliable platform with new timing and so has a new button and the carburettor has a new black delrin ring on the bellows. The Dusty R takes a step away from its ‘entry level’ roots and the R is a new race version. Featuring a lightened crankshaft with red silicone as well as DLC treatment it has completely revised timing, a double shield front bearing, like that of its older brother DIRT, and the cooling head is now 10g lighter than the previous model and finally it too receives the delrin ring in the carburettor bellows. For both engines, in the near future you will also be able to spec it with a ceramic main bearing.

Xray have released full details on their new XT8’22 1/8th truggy platform. The car is a progression from the previous model and features a new chassis plate with wider rear section for increased stability as well as mounting provisions for a graphite brace for additional flex adjustment and chassis weight mounting locations for easier balancing.
