Kyosho Inferno ST-RR Evo.2 1/8th nitro truggy kit

Kyosho America have released first information and images of the Inferno ST-RR Evo.2 1/8th scale nitro truggy kit. The evolution of the successful ST-RR Evo is making use of newly designed front and rear shocks stays that suit high-grip surfaces while offering an optional radio box set and also a lightweight clutch bell. The tough straight cut bevel gears and small flywheel from the 1/8th buggy World Champion MP9 deliver increased reliability while the dial-adjustable big bore shocks allow for precision setting. The low-profile form of the new forward cabin design body combines with the MP9 wing to produce sure-footed rear grip and manoeuvrability. There is no official release date yet but it is understood that the kit will hit the stores soon.

Reedy 5300mAh 70C LiPo shorty battery pack

New from Reedy comes a 5300mAh 70C 7.4V LiPo shorty battery pack. With shorty packs becoming a standard for 1/10th off-road buggies the new battery offers extended run times and maximum power output for both 2WD and 4WD classes. An improved cell chemistry and 70C discharge rating makes the pack ideal for Stock and Modified racing alike. The hardcase battery is equipped with 4mm socket connectors, it sports standard 93x47x24.8mm dimensions and weights in at 216g.

JConcepts ZX6 Silencer bodyshell

The latest vehicle to receive the JConcepts Silencer bodyshell treatment is the Kyosho ZX6. The body features a profiled, Finnisher stance cockpit and forward raised side-pod to give the Silencer an immediate fighting appearance. A smooth, high-speed transition around the cab keeps the body heading in the right direction and a slight recess just behind the cab with channelling out the rear provides rear-end stability. The Silencer side-pods have a clipped rear-end, narrowing the rear by angling in just in front of the rear tyres. The rear side-pods angle sharply toward the shock tower and wing, enhancing the force placed on the rear pods during high-speed acceleration. The body is capped off with a cockpit shark fin for more high-speed tracking stability and increased roof stiffness. The package includes two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance wings pre-marked for the ZX6 for the easiest application.

Novarossi Mito 9C & 7C long stroke on-road engines

Italian company Novarossi have two new on-road engines available in the form of the Mito 9C and the Mito 7C. Both are of a long stroke design and they feature a central carburetor which allows for better runtime and good bottom, mid and high end power. Both the 9C 9-port and 7C 7-port engine come with ceramic ball bearings, 9mm slide carburettors and updated crankcases.

Team Associated announce new ProSC 4x4 RTR kits

Team Associated have announced two new versions of the ProSC 4×4 Ready-To-Run truck. The #7063 ProSC 4×4 comes ready to run with many high performance features including the XP 2.4GHz radio system and a Reedy brushless power system. Additional features include sealed gear differentials front and rear, which are connected together with a tough aluminium drive shaft, as well as an adjustable centre slipper clutch to handle all of the Reedy brushless power. The bumps are managed by huge 16mm fluid-filled, coil-over shocks and aggressive, short-course racing tyres. The #7063C ProSC 4×4 LiPo Combo not only includes the standard features of the ProSC 4×4, but also the all-new Reedy 423-S Compact Balance Charger and a Reedy WolfPack LiPo 3300mAh 30C 7.4V battery are included as well.
