Following the recent introduction of the EB/NB48 2.0 buggies, it was only a matter of time until Tekno incorporated all of the cool features into an all-new truck platform. The ET48 2.0 shares many of the parts and design elements first introduced on the buggy. A primary goal of this project was to minimise the additional parts needed to help keep drivers on the track or bashing at their favourite spot. You will find that quite a few of the parts you already have will work on the new ET48 2.0. They carried over features first seen with the 2.0 buggies such as the industry-first suspension arms with built-in caster. This allows a longer overall arm length, ideal front-end geometry and increased durability. It has rear hubs that provide roll centre adjustments by adjusting the axle height and they carried over the active rear toe system. A substantial amount of time was invested in developing the smoothest suspension package available to make the truck a breeze to drive in the roughest conditions. They also brought over the quick access differentials with increased volume that improves consistency and efficiency with minimal maintenance time. And naturally, it has the extreme toughness as well as the great handling that Tekno RC vehicles are known for.

Seen before in many different guises, these curved scissors are ideal for cutting polycarbonate bodyshells with the curved cutting edge of these scissors making it simple and easy to cut wheel arches. Following extensive testing, Hasi Tuned engines are pleased to present their newest development, a range of engine venturis. These new .21 Venturi come in a range of sizes of 8.0, 8.5 and 9.0mm and they claim to improve the bottom end torque and middle rpm range allowing the engine to run to max performance. Red anodised, the venturi fits OS, Max Power and Novarossi based engines.

Fenix Racing have introduce the Classique 2, a follow up to their chassis designed specifically for the brand’s Classique line of F1 bodyshells. The biggest improvement over its predecessor is the ability to use the most popular LiPos, from Super Shorty, to Shorty to LCG Shorty. Another improvement is now a simpler rear end, where the torsion setting is handled via a single setup screw, replacing the damper and springs system used on the previous version. The rear end features a narrower track, for a better grip, while the typical 60’s short wheelbase is retained. Of course, Classique 2 is fully compatible to the existing Fenix Classique bodies. The Classique 2 and F1-70 are meant to be the backbone for the Fenix Collectors Series, which us planned to be released later this year.

From iRacing in Italy come two new exhaust sets, both containing the EFRA approved 2172 exhaust pipe. This 3 chamber pipe has been produced in Italy from high quality aluminium and come in a set for both 1/8th onroad as well as 1/8th GT. The difference in sets is the manifold engine mounting point though both manifolds are the 90 degree version for maximum power.
New from Capricorn RC for their ONE range of accessories are these tungsten engine screws. The screws are for the underside of the chassis where the engine mount is secured. In total they have a weight gain of 10grams over the standard steel screw. This adding weight to the lowest possible point of the car, making weight placement easier for the end user.

From Creation Model for the Infinity IF14 2 is two new upper bulkhead braces. Adjust the chassis flex by connecting this carbon brace between the upper bulkheads on top of the top deck. Cut with high precision from 1mm carbon plate it can change the steering and traction characteristics by effecting the rigidity of the front or rear bulkheads. The medium brace on the front increases high-speed cornering while low-speed corner steering decreased. If used at the rear it will give the car better rotation in the rear and understeer is reduced while on power traction is slightly reduced. The soft brace up front gives a good balance between high-speed and low-speed cornering while in the rear it is good balance between rotation and traction.
