Duratrax introduce a new range of polycarbonate paints for RC car bodyshells. Specially formulated for best possible adhesion, the paints come in a wide range of colours including standard, fluorescent, candy, metallic, pearl and window tint variants in 0.5oz bottles or 4.5oz spray cans. Also available are 0.5oz and 3.5oz bottles of suitable thinner.

Following yesterday’s release of anti-roll bars for the MM and RM version of the Spyder SRX2 buggy Serpent now also introduce aluminium C-hubs, brass steering arms and a carbide thrust race for the ball differential for their 2WD line of buggies. Starting with the castor hubs, the parts are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, they come black anodised and offer three upper camber link positions to alter the roll centre settings. Included with the hubs come suitable steel ball studs.

According to the usually well informed Kentech Blog Tamiya is working on a wide track TRF101 formula kit, called the TRF101W. Tweaks from the “narrow” TRF101 are new, wider carbon fibre front suspension arms, the upper deck and the corresponding posts can be mounted in a “front” or “rear” position to alter the chassis’ flex characteristics, the lower deck is made of thinner carbon fibre for added torsional flex and an updated roll damper design allows for quicker response. The servo mount also received a make over and the car is believed to be on show at the upcoming Shizuoka Hobby Show in May.

GForce introduce this LED pit light with 3-step dim function. The 12VDC lamp is powered by a 11-18VDC power source such as a standard power supply and offers a 6W LED lamp and a sensor-operated dim function to adapt the lamp to the surrounding light by a swipe of you hand. It is of a foldable design and incorporated into the bottom plate is also a tray for small parts keeping your pit table clean while wrenching. The pit light is available in black or blue colour.

Team C soon have the sport-level version of the TC10 touring car available called the TR10. The car is based on a carbon fibre double deck chassis and obviously features composite bulkheads, shock towers and suspension mounts while the motor mount and shock absorbers are still made of high-quality aluminium. Other items to spot are CV-style driveshafts, a floating servo and a velcro battery mount. We bring you more information on the kit as soon as we get them.

Team Associated introduce the new ProRally 4WD brushless-powered RTR rally car out of their Qualifier Series of kits. The sport-level chassis comes factory-assembled and is based off the ProLite 4×4 platform, offering full-time 4WD in a modular composite tub chassis, long suspension arms, heavy duty gear differentials, front steel CVA and rear dogbone driveshafts as well as adjustable steel turnbuckles. The ProRally comes including a Reedy 550-SL 3500kv brushless motor, XP SC900-BL water-resistant 90A speed controller and a 7-cell Reedy NiMH battery pack. The package is rounded out by realistic, rally-inspired hex drive wheels and your choice of a yellow or white themed Rockstar bodyshell.

Vision Racing have new carbon fibre battery braces for the Team Associated B5 line of buggies available. Coming as B5 and B5M specific variant the parts are cut from 2.5mm quasi-isotropic material and made to replace the standard composite parts with stronger items of more visual impact. Pro-Line introduce the BlockBuster bodyshell as well as aluminium option parts for the Pro-2 truck. Starting with the body, the BlockBuster is specifically designed for creating movies and inboard off-road footage by mounting “action” video cameras such as the GoPro inside. Complete with a dash for realistic first person camera shots, the body is perfect for creating action packed sequences. It is made out of extra thick lexan with moulded-in strengthening ribs to provide a stable camera mount for non-shaky footage. The sides of the body extend past the top of the camera for protection against roll-overs while the outside looks tough and ready with the Desert Militia style appearance.
