The addition of the supplied front wing helps keep the front end on the ground when under power, while at the rear of the re-profiled main cockpit a kick up in front of the wing improves the jumping by making it more controllable in the air. The all new AMB IT Personal transponder

The all new AMB IT Personal transponder

We have received photos of the all new AMB IT personal transponder that was being tested recently at the MACH indoor track in the Netherlands. Some drivers were given the new MyLaps PT to test out and so we ended up with pictures. The previous PT was very innovative and changed how we race, but it had been around for a long time and was due and upgrade, and so here it is. Weighing only 4 grams its almost half that of the original, while the size is now 16 x 9 x 6mm, making it considerably smaller too. It will be supplied with a quick change holder that enables the user to easily switch between a version that has now eyelets shown above, to one that has mounting eyelets so it can be screwed to a transponder mounting plate. It will be available in either black or red, has lower power consumption, works with less voltage and when it hits the market in the next few weeks the cable isolation will be PTFE Teflon, which is fuel resistant. Note that the PT in the images is still a prototype.
