Team Orion have released details on their new LiPo Rocket Packs, which feature the company’s hard case. These LiPo packs feature a rounded profile and so will fit all cars that can accept standard NiMh stick packs, as well as many other applications. Available in capacities of 2400mAh, 3000mAh, 3500mAh and 4000mAh and can be supplied with Tamiya, Deans or TRX connector.

New from Titanium Racing, their latest spool features a new interlocking radial drive system which reduces loadings on the outdrives resulting in less deformation under load. Manufactured from an aero grade 7075 T6 Alloy body with replaceable high impact Delrin outdrives, with integrated sleeves, the radial drive system produces a more direct and equalised load around the circumference of the outdrive reducing potential stress areas on the spool, the bearings and ultimately the bulkheads. The new arrangement features increased diameter outdrive cups making them significantly stronger than previous designs and the outdrives are now secured in place with Titanium countersunk screws ensuring a lightweight solid and concentric unit with better balance for reduced losses at higher RPM’s. Available for the Schumacher Mi3 and Mi4, Tamiya 416, Top Photon, Yokomo MR4 BD5, Hot Bodies Cyclone and Associated TC5.

Based on their Scud09 chassis, the new Scud EP chassis from AMR Tech in Taiwan is a new electric powered 1/10th scale M chassis. This fully adjustable belt driven 4wd car features a narrow chassis design as well as front and rear gear differentials and adjustable oil filled shock absorbers. Supplied with 12mm wheel adapters and M4 wheel axles, this car can accept the same wheels and tires as other 1/10th M chassis’, as well as a whole host of bodies for the same scale. Also new from AMR, for their gas powered Scud09R, is this 09 PLUS engine. This is a newly designed racing engine with newly designed 4 port liner, piston, highly efficient crankshaft as well as lightweight and strong aluminium connecting rod which gives the motor great performance and torque.

ST Racing Concepts have released a massive new range of option parts for the HPI Blitz Short Course truck. All parts are made from aluminium and all are available in Gun Metal, Orange, and Silver anodizing. First are these front caster blocks, steering knuckles and rear hub carriers. The rear hub carriers features a set-screw over hinge-pin design that securely keep the hub carriers on the hinge-pins, and also keep the wear to a minimum by making the hinge-pins rotate in the arms and not in the aluminum hub carriers while also increasing the durability. Next up is a new HD front shock tower, HD rear shock tower and rear camber link plate. The heavy duty front and rear shock tower will eliminate the flex, keeping your suspension operating true to its design, while the rear camber link plate improves durability in this normally weak area on the short course truck. Also new is a front suspension brace, front and rear chassis brace and HD front bulkhead. The CNC machined front aluminum suspension brace is a great improvement over the stock piece providing much needed strength to the front suspension when used in combination with the front bulkhead. The front and rear chassis brace help strengthen the front and rear end of the chassis.

Serpent have released new optional rear belts for their 733 200mm chassis. The first, an orange version of the standard kevlar reinforced belt, comes in 5mm (wide) making it more durable than the 4mm kit version, while sacrificing some drag. Serpent have also released a low friction Pro version of this new belt, which again is stronger than the standard 4mm belt but allows for a smoother drivetrain, eliminating most of the drag caused by having the extra width.

Fastrax have released a number of new products, including these two new scissors, for cutting lexan and for tuning buggy tires. Xceed RC continue to increase their line of accessories with the introduction of their new air filter oil and on road air filters. Sold in a 50ml bottle, this new green filter oil has been specially selected for on road use, sticking well to the foam and being able to capture the smaller dirt particles. The new air filters are sold in a pair and the foam elements are precision cut from selected foam that is optimal at retaining the oil while maintaining the correct airflow. Rounded off at the top and mounted to a newly designed softer rubber holder, they can easily fit the Xceed INS-Box or similar INS-Boxes from other brands.
