CSO 733 Suspension brackets & Chassis stiffener

CSO Racing in Hong Kong have introduced two new optional parts for the Serpent 733 200mm chassis. First up are these rear lower suspension brackets in a pair for both the lower front and lower rear. Similar in design to the original stock versions, but in a different finish, they are made from 7075 T6 aluminium. The other new part is this chassis stiffening brace that connects the radio plate and rear brake block around the engine to prevent flex in this area. A direct replacement for the standard plastic version, this part is made from 7075 T6 aluminium.

LRP Short Course Modified motor

LRP have released their new Short Course modified motor, specifically designed for short course racing. This sensored plug and play brushless motor, features a military spec sintered rotor, heavy duty low friction ball bearings and is ROAR legal. When used in combination with the existing Ai Brushless Pro reverse ESC, it offers great performance as well as smooth power delivery.

Nosram VTEC LiPo RX & TX battery packs

Nosram have introduced a new line up of VTEC LiPo RX and TX battery packs. For use in your car there are 3 new RX packs, a 1700mAh version in AAA hump configuration, a 2400mAh version in 2/3A straight configuration and finally there is a 2500mAh version in 2/3A hump configuration. For use in a Sanwa M11/MX-3 or Futaba 3PK transmitter Nosram have released a 3600mAh 11.1V TX pack. All packs come pre wired with plug and balancing cable.

Acorn Racing 3800mAh 36C Hardcase LiPo

Acorn Racing continue to add to their range of LiPo packs with the release of this new 3800mAh 2S1P Race pack with a consistent 36C burst. Understanding that you don’t need huge capacity for the Stock class, but do need the cells to give a very good punch, this race version LiPo is specially formulated with Stock Racing in mind. The cells are mounted in a durable hardcase that meets ROAR’s specifications and have the same dimension as a standard 6-cell Sub-C battery pack configuration.

MyLaps RC4 Transponder and Protocol

Having brought you photos of the new AMBrc transponder a month ago, the Dutch company have released the complete information on the new RC4 Hybrid Transponder and new communication protocol under the MyLaps name. Because the new MyLaps RC4 Timing System will not be available at all clubs and tracks at once, the MyLaps RC4 Hybrid Transponder has been released to make life easier for everyone. It works on the new MyLaps RC4 Timing System, so you are well prepared but is also 100% backwards compatible, working on all current Mylaps RC2 and RC3 Timing Systems.
