Something we missed earlier in the week, Hot Bodies have released their Megabite, Khaos and Block buggy tires in pre mounted versions. Each thread pattern is available in both red and white compounds, all pre mounted on white dish wheels. To recap, the Megabite tires are fantastic mini-pin tires that are suitable for hard & dry off-road surfaces such as hard-packed clay (including ‘blue groove’), light dust conditions, and regular clay. Khaos tires have been designed specifically to suit a range of off-road racing conditions, and are perfect for loose dirt, clay, blue groove and damp tracks. Finally, Block tires have been specially designed to work at their best in a variety of off-road racing conditions, including blue-groove dirt, dusty clay, grass and even Astroturf.

Speed Passion have introduced their new Ultra Sportsman Version 2.0 Sensor Technology brushless motors. Available in 5.5R to 21.5R versions there will also be a special design 30.5R 1000KV for rock crawler applications. All of these motors include Speed Passion’s new improved one piece design and all new V2 ‘FTD – Fixed Timing Dynamic’ sensor base technology which provides smooth power delivery, making it feel easier to drive. The all new Ultra Sportsman Version 2.0 motor series is suitable for RTR cars as well as an entry level control motor and will be available in mid December.

Hudy have released this set-up system carrying bag that allows the carrying of most 1/8 off-road and truggy set-up systems available on the market, with a multitude of different pockets & straps to accommodate most popular components. Inside the bag there are individual pockets and elasticized bands that can accommodate the following types of components: set-up system, droop blocks & gauges, ride height gauges and more. A separate storage area is given for set-up wheels and camber gauge, while a velcro-sealed pocket is used for storing fasteners and accessories. The extra long truggy upside measure plate fits perfectly into the bag as well. HPI Blitz options & new servos

HPI have released a whole load of new products, with a focus being on their new short course truck, the Blitz. New for the Blitz are these aluminium threaded shocks for the front and rear of the truck. These tough, precision-machined anodized aluminum shocks deliver low friction for smooth dampening and better handling. Features include tough aluminium construction, titanium nitride coated shafts for smooth operation, track-tuned springs, 40wt silicone shock oil and threaded bodies with preload collars for fast and easy ride height adjustment. To add custom looks to your truck their are these new shock part sets that come in orange, brown or clear anodizing. Also for the shock absorbers, HPI have released new racing spring sets, giving a wide variety of tuning choices to dial in the handling of their trucks to track conditions for faster lap times. This set features 4 pairs of gray front springs that are color coded for easy identification. Lastly for the Blitz, new precision molded 48 pitch nylon spur gears are available in 77T, 83T & 88T and come with the slipper pad pre-applied, making them a direct bolt-on replacement part. Finally from HPI there are two new servos, the high torque SF-20 and SH-33PS, the former being a high performance upgrade to the SF-1 servo and a direct replacement for the SF-2 servo, while the latter is a high performance mini servo intended for cars like the HPI Cup Racer and other 1/12 scale cars.

Xray T3 1-piece aluminium suspension holder

Xray have released this optional 1-piece aluminium suspension holder for the T3, that is a direct replacement for the standard rear holders of the front suspension. This new part will reinforce the chassis and prevent chassis damage in serious crashes. The aluminum holder will make the front suspension a bit stiffer and will also make the car slightly less steering responsive.

ST Racing Concepts have released new CNC machined delrin rod ends for the Traxxas Mini Slash and Mini E-Revo. Made with light weight anodized aluminium centers, these push-rods greatly reduces the flex in the push-rod suspension and also adds great looks, matching up perfectly with the line of option parts for the Mini E-Revo and Mini Slash. Sold in pairs and available in blue, red and silver.

A.M.R.C. team up with Capricorn RC

A.M.R.C. team up with Capricorn RC

A.M.R.C., who we reported recently had lost their distribution of the Sirio brand, have bounced back with the announcement that the Italian company will now cooperate with engine and car company Capricorn RC. Starting in December, they will begin developing the brands worldwide distribution network, with the first project to be released under this new arrangement being the new Capricorn RC 1/10th scale 200mm chassis that is due for release in the next two weeks.
