Shepherd High Performance Diff oils

For the soon to be released Velox V10, Shepherd have already released their new range of diff oils. Made from premium raw materials, Shepherd high performance oil is manufactured according to their specifications by one of the leading silicone suppliers. Due to a special heat resistant formula the performance wont be influenced by temperature changes and additionally each batch is laboratory controlled to always ensure the same performance. For easy identification the industry standard cSt gives precise information about the viscosity. The uniquely colored labels make it even easier to find the correct bottle in the tool box. The oils are available in 60.000 cSt, 80.000 cSt, 100.000 cSt and 150.000 cSt.

Hot Bodies Truggy tire line up

Hot Bodies have introduced their complete line up of truggy tires in their popular Megabite, Khaos and Block patterns. HB Megabite tires are fantastic mini-pin tyres that are suitable for hard & dry off-road surfaces such as hard-packed clay, light dust conditions, and regular clay. The Khaos tires have been designed specifically to suit a range of off-road racing conditions, and are perfect for loose dirt, clay, blue groove and damp tracks. They also work great on hard surfaces with a scattering of dust on top. Finally the Block tires have been specially designed to work at their best in a variety of off-road racing conditions, including blue-groove dirt, dusty clay, grass and even astroturf. From dry to damp or even wet conditions, you’ll find that these tires will be able to get you to the finish line ahead of the rest. All patterns are available in pink, red and white compounds.

Team Orion Experience 2 brushless system

Designed for ease of use and maximum power, Team Orion have released their new Experience 2 brushless system, which are available in the Carbon and the even more powerful Titanium edition. For best results, the ESC and motor is bought and installed as a combo, but both products are also available separately. The Experience 2 Carbon brushless system is made to have fun: no complicated setup procedures, no soldering but real plug&play – and this in combination with great look! Choose the 17, 18 or a 19 turn motor and together with the all new 70A Experience 2 ESC you have the perfect brushless combination in your hands. Although it looks like the first Experience ESC, the Experience 2 ESC has been redesigned from scratch. It handles 70A instead of 40A and is equiped motor-side with gold connectors and battery-side with the Tamiya style connector. The ESC is ready for 2S and 3S LiPo batteries and can be equipped with an additional cooling fan for even more power. The motor is a completely new design, too. It was developed to deliver best performance and reliability. It features multiple mounting holes and is held together by screws like racing motors. With the Titanium system you go one step further: the ESC is equipped with Deans plugs and a cooling fan and the motors are available with 14, 15 or 16 turns in a full metal case construction. Of course, also this system is LiPo ready (2S and 3S) and is all products can be sold separately or as combo.

OFNA Hyper 10SC 4×4 Short course truck

OFNA have announced the Hyper 10SC 4×4, a ‘kick in the pants’ 1/10 scale 4 wheel drive short course truck kit that is competitive right out of the box. This truck is right at home on the track running with 1/8 scale nitro and electric buggies and truggies and comes 90% pre assembled including chassis, wheels, tires and unpainted body. Well equipped, it sports front CVDs, ball bearings throughout, 3 oil filled differentials as well as steel bevel and main spur gears.

JConcepts 1/16th Slash Truth

New for the 1/16th Slash, JConcepts have released the Truth, whose cab, bed and fenders are all areas of focus and in addition, one of the highlights of the styling cues includes extra fender clearance to minimize troublesome tire rubbing issues.

Pro-Line BullDog for Hot Bodies D8T

Straight from the design studios at Pro-Line into the hands of Ryan Cavalieri, Richard Saxton, Billy Easton and Chris Jarosz at the 2009 Nitrocross World Championships, the BullDog body was an immediate success. In fact, the body worked so well that Ryan Cavalieri went on to put the fastest lap time down in the final, the fastest average lap thus giving him the 2009 Nitrocross World Championship title in truck. Made from Genuine GE .060 lexan, its bull nose front end increases corner speed, while the elongated bed increases air flow to the wing. Overall down force has been greatly improved over traditional 1:8 truck bodies with the engine head exposed for easy temp checks and igniter accessibility. Paint then peel overspray film, sticker sheet, and window masks included.

JConcepts D8T Punisher & 1/16th Slash Truth

JConcepts have introduced a number of new items including new bodies for the Hot Bodies D8T and Traxxas 1/16th Slash. First up is the new Punisher body for the D8T which they claim to be is the meanest, nastiest thing out for 1/8th truck racing. Beginning with the newly re-designed grill and headlight treatment, the Punisher stares you down like a trained fighter. The hood and cab treatment are amongst the lowest in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. The bed area represents the latest offering for 1/8th truck racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape. For the 1/16th Slash, the Truth’s cab, bed and fenders are all areas of focus and in addition, one of the highlights of the styling cues includes extra fender clearance to minimize troublesome tire rubbing issues.

Nosram VTEC LiFe RX packs & CPX tires

Nosram have introduced a number of new items including their new line up of VTEC LiFe receiver packs and their VTEC pre glued Carpet tires. The batteries are a combination of today’s most used battery types, the robustness and impact resistance of NiMh batteries combined with the capacity, long lifetime and weight advantage of a LiPo battery. They also impress with a higher number of charge cycles and higher cell safety compared to LiPos and the further advantage is that it can be used without an extra RX-regulator. The new VTEC CPX tires offer a newly developed high-traction tire specially for indoor carpet racing. The pre-glued tire features a special low-profile design, which prevents traction-roll on medium to high-grip tracks. With the new CPX pre-glued carpet tire, Nosram also offers a wheel for carpet touring car racing that guarantees 100% controlled racing. The answer to all tyre cheating possibilities are the semi-transparent rims, through which you see the inside of the rims, the result is no cheating.
