ST Racing Concepts Mini Slash & E-Revo options

ST Racing Concepts Mini Slash & E-Revo options

ST Racing Concepts have announced the release of a number of new aluminium optionals for the Traxxas Mini Slash and Mini E-Revo. Increase the strength and add great looks to your car’s suspension with these CNC Machined aluminium rocker arms.  These rocker arms not only look great, but also take out any flex from the plastic stock rocker arms. Greatly reduce the heat from your Mini Slash and Mini E-Revo’s high power brushless motor with this new large finned motor mount and motor heat sink plate. The large finned motor mount is lighter than the stock piece and machined with longer heat sink fins to receive more air-flow and reduce more heat from the motor, while the motor heat sink plate with a finned design is not only light weight, but also further reduces heat from the motor.  When the two are used in combination, the heat is greatly reduced from the motor, keeping you running stronger longer. Other new parts include CNC Machined aluminium threaded shock bodies, hex adapters and front and rear shock towers. All parts are available in anodized silver, red and blue.

Venom have announced it’s revolutionary new universal battery plug system. Today’s four most common battery plugs, Tamiya, Traxxas, Deans and EC3 lack inter-connectivity and as such, retailers must carry and hobbyists must purchase redundant battery packs to suit their different vehicles or void manufacturer’s warranties by replacing stock plugs to give all a common connector.  Venom’s new battery plug system features an easy to use, fool-proof interface that allows you to quickly convert batteries between any of the four most popular plug types. It features secure, low resistance, high current connections with the safety of reverse polarity protection. Manufactured with silver plated connectors and Zytel high temperature plastic housings, Venom Plugs deliver the power and flexibility you demand.  Beginning in September 2009, all of Venom’s most popular selling LiPo and NiMh battery packs will come standard with the Venom Plug system.  One pack, four connections, one easy solution.
