KM Racing have released their own line of racing foam tires for both 1/8th scale and 1/10th scale 200mm. Coming pre mounted on durable white rims, the 1/8th scale wheels use a 6 spoke design similar to the Kyosho wheels, while the 1/10th rims use a 12 spoke lightweight design. Made using high quality Italian foam, they are available in the usual range of shores.

Hong Kong based Zeppin Racing have released new rear end chassis protectors for the Losi 8ight buggy and truggy, similar to those made by DE Racing. Low profile, they are made from a soft but tough plastic, they protect the rear of the chassis plate and are mounted using the cars 4 rear block screws. Weighing only 5 grams each, they are sold in packs of 2.

Following on from the release of the rubber spec conversion for the Xray T2’009 EU and T2R Pro comes this 38T conversion set which changes the internal transmission ratio from 1.7 to 1.9. Set includes top-quality 38T composite solid axle and 38T diff pulley, plus new front & rear belts to fit the new pulleys. Team Azarashi have shown some early photos of their Womoog body shells designed to fit on both the Hot Bodies Cyclone D4 and the Tamiya TRF501X. As with previous versions of this body, these too will offer high levels of stability and a cool new look and the photos here show the almost final version, with only small modifications needing to be made before the bodies’ release in the near future.
Seen at the toy fair on the Traxxas stand in February, the US company has released details on the 1/16th scale VXL versions of their Slash and E-Revo that are to be released next month. Both cars are 14 inches long, about half the size of the 1/10-scale counterparts. Reedy have released their LiPo charging sack which reduces the risk of damage in the case of a LiPo battery fire during the charging process. Constructed using heat and fire-resistant material, the charging sack is conveniently sized at 20cm x 22cm (7 ⅞” x 8 ⅝”) to accept typical 2S-4S car packs. Due to its flexible fabric, the sack can be folded for easy transport and storage, plus, inserting and removing the battery is easy thanks to its hook and loop closure design.
