Team Associated RC10T6.2 Team Kit

Based on Team Associated’s RC10B6.2 platform, the new RC10T6.2 Team Kit represents the next step in the evolution of competitive truck racing. The next iteration of the successful RC10T truck platform brings updates to improve adjustability, durability and most importantly, performance. The engineers behind the doors of Team Associated’s Area 51 incorporated the updates racers asked for and included more tuning option parts in the box. New features include new gull wing front and rear arms and shock towers for improved high traction handling as well as B74.1 two-piece rear hubs with aluminium upper caps for fine geometry adjustments. A 1.3mm front anti-roll bar and hardware is included for added high-speed stability as well as both laydown and layback stealth transmissions for tuning weight bias. Other updates include a Factory Team 13g aluminium ESC tray, updated side rails for 30mm motor fan mount shared with B6.2 series buggies, +1 carbon fibre steering block arms and B74 66mm rear axles and 91mm CVA bones. Also included are 8.5mm aluminium rear clamping hexes with laser etching, an updated front body mount for more rigidity to protect the body from cracking and a standard weight 1.0mm Pro-Line Enforcer body.

JConcepts B74.1 S2 bodyshell

JConcepts have adapted one of their most popular bodies to fit the new B74.1 from Team Associated. Dubbed the S2, the new shell rocks some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance it is a performer straight out of the package and includes the S-type rear wing to help deliver results on any racing circuit. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with a tight fit and finish. Coming supplied with two of S-type rear wings, the S2 is available in regular and lightweight versions.

Traxxas heavy duty CVDs for the Hoss 4×4

For the Hoss 4×4, Traxxas have produced these new heavy-duty steel constant velocity driveshafts. Designed specifically for monster truck applications, they are built to withstand the brutal torque and massive grip produced by the Hoss’ 540XL motor and huge Sledgehammer tires. Compared to ordinary metal shafts, Traxxas’ unique splined telescoping design delivers full-range articulation so there is never a need to limit suspension travel. Metal pin-retention rings keep the drive pins securely in place for extra security on high RPM speed runs. Also suitable for Slash 4×4, Rustler 4×4, and Stampede 4×4 models.

LCG Racing T4’20 SFX Conversion chassis

LCG Racing have introduced this new aluminium chassis for the Xray T4 2020 SFX Conversion which features a stepped decrease of cutout width from front to rear. This makes the chassis softer in the front and stiffer in the rear which they claim makes the car smoother at corner entry and more stable on power while increasing steering through the corner. The chassis is designed with reduced width at the droop screw area to decrease scrubbing and, therefore, increase corner speed and only includes long suspension arm holes to improve strength and optimise flex characteristics. The black anodised aluminium chassis is made from high quality 7075 Aluminium and comes laser engraved with the LCG and SFX logos.

Tamiya TA07 MSX chassis kit

Coming soon from Tamiya, the TA07 MSX chassis kit is their latest single belt 4wd 1/10th scale chassis. An evolution of the TA07 MS, the car features a new 2.25mm thick carbon fibre chassis and 2.0mm thick aluminium chassis to help dial it in to various track conditions. Using a vertically mounted 2.0mm thick upper deck, it creates improved roll characteristics while ensuring pitching rigidity. In addition, two motor positions with different traction characteristics can be selected and as with the TRF420 the suspension mounts use inserts for fine adjustment. The front and rear pulleys are the same as the TRF420 as are the SSBB dampers and to that end there is new 3mm thick carbon fibre shock towers front and rear.
