Team Associated SC10 truck

Team Associated are close to releasing what appears to be a 1/10th scale version of their popular SC8 CORR series truck. Promoted on their site at the moment, they are only displaying the new SC10 logo seen above, but we’re sure that more information will come soon. Stay tuned.

RyMart Racing Carbon Mud guards

RyMart Racing have released these Carbon Mud guards, designed to protect the performance of your shocks and driveshafts from mud, exhaust oil and grass, which can often cause problems during qualifying and long finals. These nicely made carbon plates fit the RC8, Losi 8ight, Xray, and others and may require slight modification to fit on more vehicles.

LRP VTEC Harakiri buggy tire

LRP have announced the latest addition to their VTEC buggy tire range with the release of the Harakiri. Joining the already released Kamikaze and Suicide, this tire features a big block thread with optimized large spacing between the pins for best performance and long lifespan on very dusty and loose tracks. Great for long and tough finals on broken up and rutted race tracks.

Xtreme Racing MP9 Carbon parts

Carbon Fibre specialists Xtreme Racing have released a full range of carbon parts for the Kyosho Inferno MP9. Available in the range are front and rear shock towers, centre diff brace, servo tray and radio brace with all parts made from both black or silver carbon. For strength during landings, the shock towers have been machined out of super strong 4mm thick carbon fibre. Similar parts are also available for the Mugen MBX-6, with only new shock towers available for the Associated RC8-T and SC8.

Serpent black hooded sweater

Serpent have released their latest apparel item with the release of this high quality black cotton-mix Serpent hoodie. Featuring a larger orange/white logo print on the front and smaller white offset logo on the back, it has a large pocket on the front and the hood sports orange draw strings. Available in all the usual sizes from late January.

New from the small Danish company RC Modifications are these 5mm 7075 aluminium shock towers for the Mugen MBX-6. Available for both the front the rear of the buggy, they weigh 62 grams together and have been light grey anodised.

Serpent S120 Front end assembly

Serpent have released the front end of their S120 car to be used on other 1/12th scale cars. Featuring 11 different adjustments to help you get the most from your car, all of which are easy to adjust and measure. Fixed lower suspension arms are themselves damped by the central strut which uses rubber o-rings to take up the flex in this area, while the grey anodised aluminium front upper wishbone mounts are available in different caster angles, the car being supplied with 6 degree versions as standard. With the steering block king pins spring loaded, the cornering forces are channelled through the upper wishbone, which enable the car to corner at high speeds.

Trinity Cost Oriented Technology

Trinity have introduced a new C.O.T. class which stands for Cost Oriented Technology. Created for racers that just want to show up and race without worrying if they have the latest and greatest technology to be competitive. It is a great new option for tracks and large events that want controlled handout style racing, at an economical price. The C.O.T. Power Package includes a blue hard-cased 3200mah 30C Intellect LiPo pack with a Deans connector (R.O.A.R. legal) and a specially designed 13.5T or 21.5T Pulse brushless motor (R.O.A.R. approved) developed by Trinity, featuring a one-of-a-kind marked shaft and fixed timing adjustments, making tech inspection easy and giving race directors the freedom to set timing rules to fit their racing programs. For the Snowbirds there is a C.O.T. class for oval, and road, with oval using the 21.5 motor and Touring using a 13.5 motor.
