Xray T2 ECS Drive Shafts

XRAY has just presented its new ECS drive shafts, designed with high-level racing in mind. The ECS drive shafts were developed to decrease front wheel vibration when racing with a solid front axle, thus providing a much smoother and quieter ride and increasing steering. The ECS drive shaft equalizes the speed between the drive shaft and the wheel. With a unique 2-piece joint between the axle and the wheel, the same extreme wheel turning angle is divided into two shallower angles without joint binding. This means that at the same cornering speed, the inner wheel will not bind or vibrate. Drive through the corner is more stable, more precise and easier to drive. With the new ECS drive shafts, wheel vibrations and noise are decreased to minimum, steering is increased and cornering speed and smoothness increases noticeable. The ECS drive shaft comes factory pre-assembled for quality checking, but it is not immediately ready to use.

Werks Racing go 100% pre-mount

After months of testing and development Werks Racing have announced that they are offering pre-mounted 1/8th buggy tires which will mean the giant step of going 100% pre-mount only on their 1/8th buggy tires! Werks Racing will no longer be selling un-mounted 1/8th Buggy tires and say the reason was simple, ‘which driver in their right mind wants to glue tires?’ To offer one of the best packages in the industry the US company has taken their complete range of 1/8th buggy tires and matched them with 2 of their other recently released products. The new “white” super consistent, medium compound molded insert and the new low weight, large diameter 1/8th buggy dish wheel. These have been combined with a proven “Italian” gluing system for an inseparable glue bond. All of the components will be manufactured, assembled and glued in Italy at an attractive and affordable price.
