Speed Passion have been in contact to give us a preview of their great looking new special edition Competition 2.0 brushless motors. Perfect in time for the World Championships this November, the new motors are decorated in the names of the company’s factory drivers and carry their own unique colour scheme. Motors are available from Marc Rheinard, Jilles Groskamp, Viktor Wilck, Surikarn Chaidajsuriya and Toni Rheinard. Speed Passion have had a good year so far winning the European 1/10th and 1/12th scale Championships, LRP Masters, pre Worlds in Thailand, the Euro Touring series and the IIC, but can they get a perfect run and take the Worlds too, they seem to have a very strong team going into the event.

Calandra Racing Concepts have released this EZ Pipe mount for use on 1/8th scale gas off road buggies and truggues. Instead of having to make multiple lengths and shape pipe hanger wires for different types or brands of pipe, you can simply loosen the set screws and adjust the length to match your pipe. Italian company Capricorn RC have announced that they have created their own engine brand, starting with this CL-12E 2.1cc touring car engine. Based on the Sirio block, the new range will eventually include 3.5cc competition motors for on road and off road. The internals of the engine have been completely revised under their own specifications and feature both front and rear ceramic bearings as well as having laser etched internal components. The engine will also be available as a tuned version (shown in photos) and will come with a black crankcase, standard version is silver, and a hand modified crankshaft, while all motors will be available in an optional set that includes the manifold, pipe and clutch system. KM Racing have released their new range of updated aluminum handled tools. Featuring special chrome hardened steel tool tips, the hollow lightweight handles are 18mm in diameter for better grip and have 4mm holes on the tool handle to be able to enhance the leverage using another tool tip. Available in the usual range of sizes and types of tips, all tools have grooves on the handle for easy identification and come supplied with the end cap as standard.
