Team Xray joins VRC

Virtual Racing Industries is happy to announce that Team XRAY has signed up as one of the exclusive VRC industry partners. The XRAY NT1 nitro racer and the T2-008 electric chassis will be made available in VRC v4 Professional. Such branded chassis will only be available after signing up as full VRC member and can be obtained with VRC-dollars earned by participating in official racing events. The 1:8 scale off-road buggy and truggy racers are likely to be included at a later stage to complete their off-road line-up in VRC.

Jaad Racing Cyclone pivot blocks

Jaad Racing have just released these optional pivot blocks for the Hot Bodies Cyclone. Available in + and – 0.5 degrees for the FR and RR pivot blocks, and a 3.5 degree front or rear pivot block, the user can achieve 3.0 degrees toe. Through their testing they found that wider pivot blocks make the car stiffer, and narrower blocks makes the car roll more, hence as a general rule wider blocks are used on the rear or narrower in the front when more steering is needed. All blocks are made from 7075 aluminium and have been purple anodised. Available now.

HARD X3 Electric Stock motor

H.A.R.D. have released this new X3 stock electric motor, which has been engineered to exceed the standard performance of other kit motors. This 540 size brushed stock motor was created to provide unmatched power right out of the box and sports a beefy 18 turn armature. Unlike other entry level motors, the X3 features an internal cooling fan to remove heat, which helps improve performance as well as extending the life of the motor.

Predator X11 Big Bore shocks

Our mates over at oOple have the first information on the new ‘big bore’ shock absorbers from Team Extreme, manufacturers of the Predator X11 4WD electric buggy, who brought some of the first production examples to the recent Talywain BRCA National. Nathan Ralls has been testing the shocks behind closed doors for a while now, but has finally started to race the car in public – first time out at the recent South East regional, and a win for the new X11 driver with these new shocks. The new shock absorbers are the same length but Team Xtreme have maxxed out the diameter to the limits of what would fit within the existing range of springs.

Craft RC 3PK Chrome & Wing Series

Two new releases for the Futaba 3PK from South Korean custom RC design company Craft RC. The new skins are called the Chrome series (above), which is available in blue and red, and the Wing series that also comes in blue and red. As per the previous versions they are made from top quality material that is easy to apply and which stays good for a long time.

Xray XB808 Optional Anti-Roll bars

Xray have produced more option parts for the XB808 with the release of a full range of front and rerar anti-roll bar wires of different thicknesses for fine-tuning the setup of your XB808. These anti-roll bars are manually manufactured in-house from premium heat-treated spring steel wire using precision bending machines that ensure equal side angles. Manually measured, selected, and straightened to eliminate all tweak. The front anti-roll bars come in 2.0mm, 2.2mm, 2.4mm, 2.6mm & 2.8mm thickness’s, while the rear anti roll bars are available in 2.2mm, 2.4mm, 2.6mm and 2.8mm thickness’s.
