Team Associated Factory Team TC5F

Team Associated Factory Team TC5F

Based on the successful Factory Team TC5, Team Associated have released the TC5F, an electric touring car chassis that has been optimized for high traction, foam tire racing. The TC5F starts with a full ball bearing, dual belt-drive system that transfers all the power from the motor smoothly and efficiently. With today’s motors and batteries delivering more power than ever before, the belt-drive system gives the TC5F a very predictable throttle response and feel, making it easier to drive fast and carry more speed through the corners. The blue aluminum ball differentials are super light for reduced rotational mass. Reducing the weight of the diffs lets the TC5F accelerate harder out of the corners. Hardenedsteel CVAs with cross-pin retaining clips and blue aluminum clamping wheel hexes offer reliable service getting all the power to the wheels.

Novak HV BL Motor with 5mm Shaft

Novak HV BL Motor with 5mm Shaft

Novak have released some additions to their range of HV High Voltage brushless motors, with the introduction of these 5mm shaft versions. These 550-size sensored brushless motors are available in four motor winds 4.5, 5.5, 6.5 and 7.5, and include a Sintered rotor with a rugged 5mm output shaft. The HV Series is ideal for monster trucks, converted electric 1/8-scale vehicles and vehicles requiring massive power output. Additionally, the motors are sensor-based, so they always know the position of the rotor, which provides excellent starting torque and continuous synchronization for smooth, controlled low-speed driveability and consistent brakes. The HV-Series of motors also features a shielded sensor cable with sheathed sensor wires and a completely rebuildable design.

Losi Nitrotec Spray Cleaner

Losi Nitrotec Spray Cleaner

Losi have released their Nitrotec Spray Cleaner, which they claim is the quickest and safest method for cleaning any nitro RC car or truck. The specialized formula quickly loosens and removes unwanted dirt, grease and debris, evaporates quickly leaving no harmful residue and is safe on most plastics including Lexan. Used by top team racers to clean fuel residue, dust, dirt, grease and any unwanted contamination from all static and moving parts, Nitrotec features a handy pistol type spray nozzle that allows you to concentrate the cleaning blast precisely where you need it, thus preventing waste and saving money. The concentrated, pressurized spray easily cleans ball bearings, silicone oil from shocks and differentials and grime from almost any part used on an RC car.

Team Orion Vortex Race BL motor

Team Orion Vortex Race BL motor

Team Orion have announced the upcoming release of their Vortex Race Brushless motor, the result of 24 months of work by Oscar Jansen to create the ultimate brushless motor. The Vortex Race motors are the company’s top of the line BL competition motors and as such are designed to be powerful and highly efficient. Brushless technology increases power output and efficiency to push vehicles to faster speeds with increased run times and with no brushes, springs, or commutators to maintain, drivers can spend more time improving their driving skills and car set-ups rather than performing motor rebuilds. Its versatile design allows it to be used with today’s leading sensored and sensorless brushless ESCs. Available in 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 10.5 and 13.5, they will hit the shops worldwide in the next 10 days.
