Losi have announced the release of this Tuned Flex Technology Chassis for their popular 8ight Buggy. Milled at exact points to give more flex to the chassis while not sacrificing chassis flex at the gear mesh, the tuned flex technology offers greatly improved overall traction and stability on all track surfaces and has been vigorously tested worldwide by Losi drivers Adam Drake, Mike Truhe and Yannick Aigoin.

K-Factory G4 carbon Side plates

Designed to fit all of the G4 series models from Team Magic, K-Factory have released new left and right carbon side plates, which help when mounted create an incredibly stiff yet lightweight frame around the cars engine. Machined from 3mm carbon fibre, the left side plate also houses and supports the 2 speed shaft, shaft bearing and adjustable belt tensioner assembly and both plates are supplied with fasteners.

The Venom Group have released their Voltage Forty-Fives, a high performance 1/8th scale buggy race tire. Featuring a wide 45mm contact patch and an asymmetrical 45 degree outside pin row design that allows you to tune your buggy for optimal traction depending on how the tire is mounted onto the wheel. The molded 45 degree pins save you countless hours of prep time usually spent trimming square pins to tune the tires. Designed with chassis geometry in mind, the tapered anti-ballooning rib design keys into the included Venom Griplox molded foam inserts for quicker steering response, sure footed traction and an enhanced feel. The signature ā€œVā€ sidewall ribbing increases lateral support under extreme conditions while the tread pattern provides maximum forward bite on a wide variety of surfaces.

Made from lightweight aluminium the cover also doubles as a motor heat sink but mainly helps keep stones and other debris from getting into the gears and damaging them. Team Associated RC12R 1/12th scale

The guys over at RC50.com have been going through the pits at this weeks Snowbird Nationals in Florida and came across the new Associated RC12R, a soon to be released 1/12th scale link car with Associated offering a T-plate version available as a conversion set. According to the team driver running the car, the last parts have been approved last week and so kits should be out in about two months. The car sports a neat front end that allows you to adjust the track width inboard instead of shimming the axle.

Reckward Tuning RC8 & Mugen parts

Vita Tuning in Germany have produced some new parts for Reckward Tuning, in the form of new engine blocks and pivot balls. First up is this new 2-piece engine mounting block for the Team Associated RC8 that has been machined from alloy and is designed to allow you remove, and put your engine back in, without having to re-align your engine each time. Also new for the Mugen MBX5R and MBX5T is this set of 7mm pivot balls, that are also available in 6.8mm for the Losi 8ight, which are supplied with the fastening materials and have more clearance than the standard balls.
