KM Racing blocks & NT1/MTX4 parts

KM Racing blocks & NT1/MTX4 parts

KM Racing have released a number of optional parts for the Mugen MTX-4 and Xray NT1 as well as these universal droop blocks. The chassis droop support blocks, which sport the KM Racing logo have been precision machined from aluminium and red anodised and work with the previously released droop gauge. For the MTX-4, KM have created some lightweight aluminium pulleys in both 23T and 18T and their construction prevents the build up of dirt on the teeth, while a new lightweight pulley adaptor works with the original plastic pullies on the MTX3 and 4. For the Xray NT1 is a new lightweight 2nd gear carrier and 2 piece lightweight front solid axle which has been made from delrin to help reduce weight, while the design allows for replaceable ball cups.

SH Engines Z-Car 1/8 scale Buggy

SH Engines Z-Car 1/8 scale Buggy

Back in September, we mentioned the new Z-car buggy from engine maker SH Engines in China and recently it was announced that Greg Degani would race this car. Now the manufacturer has placed lots of images on their website of the new car and it looks good, with some neat looking features, the most notable of which is the leaned motor that places the engines weight more over the center line. The front of the chassis has a “twin” kickup, the rear suspension has unique semi-trailing/double wishbone configuration and there are 2 braking systems in the car, in the traditional center position but als on another rear brake system mounted on the rear gearbox.

Joseph Quagraine – Interview

 Joseph Quagraine - Interview

More interviews with our partners Neo Buggy having an exclusive chat with Joseph Quagraine to talk about his new venture JQ Products, that he is doing together with Himoto Racing.

I have been working on my own 1:8 buggy design for nearly two years now, and at the time I started talking with Himoto, it was already done. When I finally showed them my prototype they were impressed, and basically things took off from there. The opportunity of being part of a new RC-car company was just too good to miss. It is a great challenge to pull this off, and establish a new top level racing brand, but its one I am looking forward too. We will start with a 1:8 buggy, and various nitro racing accessories, but the intention is to expand from there and produce other cars also, both gas and electric, on and offroad.
