Tamiya have announced that they will release a special edition of their popular DT-02 2WD off-road buggy featuring a simple, user-friendly chassis with exciting performance. Xray have released 2 different flywheel collars for use with the company’s XCA clutch used on the Xray NT1. Designed for use with the most popular motors, a 7mm version has been released for Novarossi-based engines while for Picco-based engines a 6mm version is available.

Jammin Products has released a limited amount of the new 2008 Super Big Bore 16mm shocks for the Jammin 1/8th line of Buggies and Truggies. The design allows the shock to be mounted to either the buggy or truggy by just utilizing different shock ends. Many new features have been included in this design including reinforced bladders, precision pistons, low friction assembly, threaded shock bodies and Teflon coated shock bodies.

We showed you the CRT-5 back in January when it was announced and at the time Jammin promised a Ready-to-Run version would follow. Well OFNA/Jammin have now announced that the RTR version is now shipping and it will come complete with standard full size servos, the new Jammin .12 Pull Start Engine and an OFNA Futaba Radio system. The CRT.5 RTR offers pro kit performance with RTR convenience with features like polished pipe, sealed diff, long arm suspension and C-hub steering, plus Upgrade RC’s decal designs in three colour choices (red, blue & green).

Carson have released a number of new products for assembling battery packs such as these soldering connectors, available in copper, gold and platinum. Sold in packs of 8, these soldering connectors are capable of carrying very high current and due to their design ensure that you have a 100% contact to your cell, which provides a very low contact resistance. Also new from Carson are 4mm gold contacts that are sold in packs of 2x sockets, 2x connectors and shrinking tube and have been designed for optimal conductivity, due to their low contact resistance and ability to stay free of oxidation.

KM Racing have informed us about some of their new and upcoming products which are suitable for a number of different 1/10th scale 200mm cars. The first product is this lightweight steel clutch bell, which is suitable for use on the Xray NT1, the many holes reduce the rotating weight of this part making for a more responsive clutch. KM have also released a number of flexible FRP fibre battery trays, one each for the Kyosho V-One, Mugen MTX4 and the Xray NT1, all of which feature machining on the underside to protect the battery tape from scuffing on the ground and all sport the KM Racing logo.
