Yokomo YZ-114SP AC/DC Charger

Yokomo have released this new stylish, lightweight and compact AC/DC charger, called the YZ-114SP. Featuring a front mounted touch panel, which makes it easy to operate and stops dirt getting into the buttons, it also has a built in battery temperature cut off mechanism in addition to a new intelligent delta peak cut off system, for extra protection for your batteries. The charger can handle all battery types including LiPos and can be powered by both 12V DC as well as 100~240V AC.

Robitronic have released this new range of durable red anodised aluminium servo arms for 1/8th scale off road cars. The arms feature small screws on the side to ensire a tight mounting on the servo main shaft and are numbered to show which servo they are suitable for. GS Racing have released a number of new option parts for their range of competition 1/8 Off Road vehicles, including the CL1 and XUT series. First up are these high performance disk brake pads, which are sold in a pack of 4 and improve your buggy’s stopping power. For the CL1 are 2 new parts including a set of special wing spacers made from aluminium and a super strong 5mm thick ball raced steering plate, made from 7075 T6 aluminium which comes in a set including all parts necessary to mount it.

Team Azarashi Flex deck for 501X

Japanese company Team Azarashi have released this flexible top deck option for the Tamiya 501X. Available for both the front and rear side of the central motor assemble the original carbon top deck is replaced with 2 seperate braces, made of dry carbon plate, that allow the car to flex giving more mechanical grip. The user can choose to have them on both the front and rear of the car or just one end, whichever needs it.

Korean manufacturer Much More have expanded their line up of competition cells with the introduction of these 4500 CTX-Matched cells. Sold in packs of 6, with packs of 5 to follow soon, these Diamond cells have a large power output and have been matched for optimum performance.

Hudy have announced the latest addition to their lineup of Professional tools, with the addition of a complete range of Torx drivers. Torx head screws are becoming increasingly popular, as their design inherently resists cam-out (the tendency for a bit to twist out of the fastener slot when tightened) better than Phillips head screws, and resists rounding out the screw slot much better than hex slot screws. The range of tools includes 6 different tip sizes (T6, T8, T10, T15, T20 & T25) and all are sold with the hollowed, lightweight duraluminum handles which feature a specially coated anti-slip grip. Replacement tips are also available.

Vantomme M12 EP chassis

We recieved a mail yesterday telling us about the Belgian built Vantomme M12 1/12th scale electric pan car. This car is the 2nd generation chassis, the first called the M1.1 was built in 2005 and was based on the Speed Merchant Rev4. This latest version features a number of improvements including numerous chassis cut-outs, extreme small lower motor plate for easy access motor, a sharp X shape front design and a very short chassis with an extra bumper to attach. The ‘VantommeM12’ hit the circuit for the very first time last weekend, during a ‘MRCZ Challenge race’ and finished a hard fought 3rd after qualifying 2nd.

Tamiya Durga DB01 EP Buggy

Since it’s release last year, the Tamiya TRF501X has enjoyed some competition successes, including winning the recent European Championships in Finland. The experience gained through the development of the TRF501X is now available to fans around the world in the form of this much-anticipated R/C off-road buggy, the Durga. Essentially a plastic version of the 501X, the Durga uses a reduced number of parts for ease of maintenance and comes supplied wth the wheels, tires and 540 type motor, all for a more competitive price.
