RC Insider Show – Now online

RC Insider Show

So we received an e-mail from our friends at RC Hobbies in Canada to let us know that the show RC Insider, which is hosted by Dirt Girl Anna Curtis and directed by Jayne Romyn, is back on air. No longer is it being shown by the Outdoor Life network in the US however, but instead it will be shown online, which is of course better for everyone. The show itself features race reports, interviews and product reviews and seems to be a good effort so we recommend you go check it out.

The first demo episode of this show can be seen here.

The shaft straightener features a very precise measuring tool that allows you to measure the deformation of the armature shaft accurately while the supplied tool allows you to straigthen the shaft. The Balancer is a magnet hung shaft that comes on a base that sports a spirit level to ensure it has been placed flat while it comes with 2 shafts to allow you to check the balance of both tires as well as armatures.

Team Orion CRF CPD released

Team Orion CRF CPD

Way back at the start of February Team Orion showed their CPD (constant pressure device) system to visitors at the Nuernberg toy fair, and we showed it to you for the first time then also. Well if you have been waiting to buy one ever since, you now can, as it has just been released.

The CRF CPD acting as a pressure valve system, effectively resolves this problem by regulating the amount of pressure going to the fuel tank. The valve allows a constant amount of pressure to be sent to the fuel tank, by opening or closing itself depending on the engine’s rotation speed.

Kyosho release Evolva & MP777 Optionals

Kyosho France have a number of new optionals for the Evolva and Inferno MP777 displayed on their website that have just been made available. First up for the Evolva are these pretty cool looking setup wheels, which are pretty unique in that its rare to see them for 1/8th circuit cars. They are sold in a set of 4, feature a rubber o-ring around the circumference and are anodised grey. Next up, again for the Evolva, are some lightweight wide off-set front wheel axles that come supplied with spacing shims, we presume to enable you to set the amount of offset required. For the MP777 come some anodised wheels nuts in brown, red and blue and also available are aluminium steering blocks, that feature nylon inserts for using smaller bearings.
