Sportwerks Reaction 1/10 RTR Gas Truck

Sportwerks have announced the release of the Reaction RTR, which has been designed to be the easiest way to get started in nitro RC. The Reaction features a push-button starting system and electric reverse so you won’t need to worry about pull cords, starter boxes or handheld starters thanks to the on-board electric motor and transmitter-activated starter. Just press the button and the engine roars to life, ready for any track or backyard. And, if you run out of fuel or get stuck, the electric reverse option lets you drive the truck back to you quickly and simply. TN Racing speedo heatsinks

TN Racing speedo heatsinks

Japanese company TN Racing have released this new trio of aluminium heatsinks for your speed controller. Available in dark blue, purple and light blue, you simply attach this lightweight, low profile heatsink to the top of speedo to help remove the heat that builds up in your controller.

After market parts maker Edit RC have announced the release of 2 new products today, the piston stopper and a set of precision body markers. First up is the piston stopper which works by locking the engines piston in place for clutch removal or to allow you to remove your flywheel. Simply remove the glow plug from the engine, screw the Piston Stopper in place, and your piston and crankshaft will be locked into position. Next up from Edit is this set of precision body markers which slip over each body post on your buggy, truck or touring car, allowing you to then place the bodyshell on the car, then press firmly but gently on the body and it will put light dimple marks on the shell indicating the body post positon. You then of course ream out these holes, perfect for mounting pre painted bodies.

Sold in an 80ml bottle, this treatment has been specially made for use with rubber tires and has been developed and tested to perform under the extreme forces seen with modern touring cars.

Back in February, we showed you pictures of the then soon to be released DB12R 1/12th scale chassis from BMI Racing. Well yesterday the guys from BMI showed of some pictures of the all new prototype rear end for their car, that they are currently testing.

It is designed around the brushless motors. We are using our standard lower plate on this prototype for testing but we will be spreading the pod plates 2mm for more clearance for production without a sacrifice in rear track width adjustment.

Cutting Edge rubber tires

Powers International of Japan have released information about the soon to be available touring car rubber tire from Edge, called Cutting Edge. Designed to provide high levels of grip for long durations, this competition rubber have been race tested and has proved to be great over uneven track surfaces while the strong side walls provide your car with great stablility even when on the limit. Available in 28 and 32 compounds, it goes on sale in late July.
