Fastrax AllStart Universal Starter Box

CML Distribution in the UK have introduced this Universal Starter Box by Fastrax, called the AllStart. Its your typical starter box and is compatible with in-line or side-mounted, 1/10th and 1/8th, on or off-road cars. The starter box itself can be easily adjusted to accomodate your choice of car and the whole starting system is powered by dual 550 motors, whilst the box itself can accept two 6 cell stick packs or one 12v gel cell.

Team Orion have just released details on their site about the 2007 version the Element 19T compeition electric motor. The Mega Flow can has been re-engineered,  and features strategically placed vents for maximum airflow and optimized magnetic field strength which results in increased power output and fade-free performance from start to finish.

A precision wound 19T armature is wrapped with 19 AWG pure copper wire featuring construction designed to optimize the balance between low-end torque and high speed RPM for excellent performance in competition Touring Car, Off-Road, and 1/12 scale vehicles. Drill balancing ensures vibration free operation resulting in maximum straightaway speeds. The Element comes equipped with Katana competition laydown brushes with high performance springs.  All motors come broken-in and evaluated to ensure maximum performance straight out of the package.

TTech Racing release details about X11

Tenth Technology X11

Some time ago we told you wrote about the fact that TTech Racing, the makers of the cool looking X10, had been bought by Xtreme-RC. Well now we see the first fruits of that new arrangement with the announcement that the X11 4wd electric buggy, the follow up to the X10, will be released at the end of April. The list of new features was published on the companies site and from what we have read the new cars looks to have better durability, performance and should look great too.

Some news from SpeedMerchant, the 1/12th manufacturer that won all 1/12th classes at this years ROAR Nats, to say that they have released this neat little carbon fibre stand that fits their range of greases. This stand would look great on your race table and is made from 2 sheets of carbon, and as well as the 3 spots for the oil there is also space for some other small bottles.

New Kyosho big bore shock absorbers

Kyosho Big Bore shock absorbers

Our mate Phil, over at the Neo Buggy Industries, has the first exclusive shots of the all new big bore shock absorbers for the Kyosho inferno. These shocks have been seen on the cars of Yuichi Kanai and Cody King at this weeks Silver State race, but World Champ Mark Pavidis didnt get a set, and by the looks of them they are in the pre production stage of development. For those techies out there i can inform you that the new shocks have an outside body diameter of 18mm with an inner diameter of 16mm and the pistons currently have 4 holes.
