Exotek have introduced their 22 Vader lightweight street eliminator drag racing chassis conversion kit for the TLR 22 3.0 to 5.0 series of buggies. The set converts the 22 buggy to be race ready for the hot new Street Eliminator/Slash No-Prep race classes springing up around the US. It provides the legal 13” wheelbase to fit under the hottest new no-prep bodies that are on the market, such as the ones offered by Proline and JConcepts. The pro chassis conversion set features carbon fibre made and machined in USA, a heavy duty 2.5mm thick chassis and side rail plates, an alloy servo mounting block that ties into the side rails for extra rigid and tweak-free front chassis setup as well as six heavy duty alloy side rail posts. Also included are a heavy duty alloy front kick-up plate, alloy parts that are finished in glossy black and silver cut to match the stock 5.0 look, and a 4-position shorty LiPo mounting to adjust for wheelie/no wheelie balance. The 2-level chassis design allows to lower or raise the centre of gravity for stability yet keeps the gear box higher to increase traction and keep the drive axles straighter for higher speeds. The kit offers multiple weight balance options to maximise grip on the street or on the track and it includes a 3mm carbon fibre front shock tower to run a lower ride height as well as allow the use of an optional street eliminator body mount kit. The kit also includes a carbon fibre rear body mount plate that bolts to the stock 22 wing mounts for use with the Traxxas #TRA1914R body post set, it comes with a standup 3-gear Exotek slotted motor plate, steel hardware, extra large Exotek logo stickers, and an instruction sheet.
