ARC release more R12 details

ARC have released more details about their highly anticipated R12 mid-motor touring car. The company started the project with three main goals: to maximise the mechanical traction, to centralise the transmission, and lower the overall centre gravity. Following a lot of evaluation and track tests all over the works, the R12 will feature all-new suspension arms that are increased in length in order to improve overall traction and corner speeds while offering two different shock mounting positions. The matching suspension blocks are of a more narrow design to complement the long arms. The upper deck is now of a 2-piece design with independent flex adjustments front and rear while the all-new drivetrain pulley design provides a very centralised drivetrain for increased stability and handling. Also new is the 1-piece easy flex adjustment more mount with a lightweight motor bulkhead design. A new spur adapter ensures quick and easy main gear changes while the new chassis offers optimised flex with mounting positions for both the new long and the older short arm design. All-new low centre of gravity anti-roll bars, new bulkheads with an updated roll centre adjustment design and an all-new rear shock tower, that supports horizontal and vertical body post mounting rounds out the package. The R12 is set for a release around mid-May.

JConcepts 1970 Chevy C10 12.3” WB body shell

Made for 1/10th scale trail trucks such as the Traxxas TRX-4, the Element RC Enduro or the Axial SCX10 is JConcept’s new 1970 Chevy C10 body shell. It captures the look and feel of the era just beautiful with the hood of the Chevy being rock solid in shape that planes across the center ridgeline. The cab and windshield are a key styling point on this creation and the “cap” look to the cab has the hard edge around the sides and visor like appearance to the front. Side windows fit within the geometry as expected with classic vent windows lining the front corner. The bed styling features the bodylines that make the Chevy authentic vintage and a slight recess in back provides a healthy setting for body mounts or other aftermarket accessories. Front and rear bumpers are molded into the design giving the truck solid looks without bolt-on parts or additional pieces. Side-markers on the 1970 are horizontal which is also included in the decal sheet. The wheel wells are large and tasteful 1:1 representation for the most clearance or maximum articulation with large tires, it might be necessary to trim further into the fender flares for extra-large tire sizes. The years 1967 to 1972 showed a lot of looks through Chevrolet and GMC variants. With small changes to grille, headlights, and trim packages throughout the years, JConcepts has added a bonus to the included decal sheet. An incredible four different grille options are included on the sheet giving the user the option of their favorite package from yesteryear. Hard panned single headlight and double light bezel setups are included which contain bar and tube grille combinations.
