Bittydesign Vision MP10 pre-cut buggy body shell

Bittydesign have introduced their all-new Vision 1/8th nitro buggy body shell for the Kyosho MP10 buggy. Due to its design the body will offer an easier to drive and more balanced feeling compared to the MP10 kit body thanks to a new cabin, side pod and rear side flaps design that optimises the aerodynamic characteristics. In addition, a flap behind the engine area guides the air towards the rear wing for a smoother and more directed airflow around the shock tower and lower wing mount. The body comes moulded from high-quality 1mm Lexan polycarbonate and it is laser pre-cut to fit the Inferno MP10 buggy. Included comes a pre-cut decal sheet as well as window masks.

Spectacle Engineering B74 low-profile shock towers

Coming from Spectacle Engineering are their new low and super low profile carbon fibre shock towers for the Team Associated B74 4WD buggy. The concept is aimed to optimise performance on high traction and high speed EOS-style tracks. Through the use of the shock package from the B6.1/6.2 2WD buggy, the designers were able to lower the shock towers, both front and rear, thus lowering centre of gravity. Testing also showed that a more upright shock angle in combination with a shorter camber link was beneficial. SE also found there was room to lower the rear wing mount, which lowered the center of gravity even further. Two specifications are available: Low which is versatile and adjustable to suit most conditions while lowering the centre of gravity compared to the stock shock towers. The Low shock towers are designed to be used with long eyelets and stock springs. The Super Low towers were optimised for ultimate performance on high grip EOS-style tracks. Designed to be used with short eyelets and short (57mm) springs at the rear, these geometries are on-the-limit, and slight modification to the wishbones might be needed.

Tamiya TRF Big Bore Dampers+ shock absorber set

Following their new set of Big Bore shock absorbers for M-chassis cars, Tamiya also release a set dedicated to their 1/10th scale touring car range. The shock absorbers feature a ten percent larger oil capacity compared to the standard TRF shocks, resulting in improved traction especially in lower grip or bumpy track conditions. An anti-friction coating makes for smooth shock action as do titanium-nitride-coated shock shafts. Included with the shock absorbers comes an arrangement of accessories such as aluminium and plastic spring retainers, different size upper and lower shock mount ball cups as well as machined shock pistons and a set of springs. The shocks are usable for chassis such as the FF-03 and FF-04 FWD cars, the TA05 to TA07 belt-driven chassis, the TB-03 and TB05 shaft-drive kits, the TT-02 and TT-01 as well as the XV01 kits.
