Smokem X20 MYD 2.0mm carbon fibre top deck

Smokem Racing have introduced their new MYD top deck for the Serpent X20 mid-motor touring car. Machined from 2.0mm high-quality carbon fibre the top deck is of an asymmetrical design that features a narrow 9mm front section which was found to deliver balanced flex characteristics despite the asymmetric design. The results are improved traction, increased in-corner steering and corner speed. The design also ensures the top deck will never make contact with the motor as the chassis flexes, with clearance for large-pinioned spec class gearing and it can also be easily removed, making spur gear and belt changes a breeze.

Xtra Speed CC02 alloy front knuckle arm set

Xtra Speed have introduced their new aluminium front knuckle arm set for the Tamiya CC02 kit. Using the parts will improve overall durability of the vehicle while adding some visual impact of the light trailing rig. The steering knuckles come in a silver colour and including mounting hardware.

Samix Enduro 25T aluminium servo horn

Readily available from Samix are their 25T aluminium servo horns for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks. Machined from high-quality aluminium and being of a double clamping-style design, the servo horns offer greatly improved rigidity for better steering emphasis and precision in demanding terrain while adding a professional look to the scale rig. The double clamping-style design provides better mounting security and the arms come in a total of seven colours including silver, gun metal, orange, green, black, red and a new blue tone.

Exotek FGX rear aluminium hub set

New from Exotek and made for the 3Racing FGX formula car are precision-machined and laser-engraved 7075 aluminium rear hubs. The raised hub design improves the roll centre, that is +1mm higher with the Exotek hubs, and creates better CVD clearance from the lower arm. The hubs come anodised black and silver chamfered to match the factory looks and they fit the FGX Evo and original FGX.

Xray XB4’20 large volume graphite diff case & cover

Coming from Xray and made for their XB4’20 1/10th scale 4WD buggy are new graphite-reinforced differential parts. Available for the buggy’s large volume front and rear diffs are both the case and cover as separate, graphite-reinforced items. The lighter and tougher material will withstand higher temperatures and wear better, holding the screws securely in place even when using high-powered motors and/or when driving on very high-bite or rutted tracks. Both the case and cover are available separately.

Intellect 2020 Platinum LiPo battery range

UK Intellect distributor Schumacher has introduced the 2020 Platinum LiPo range. Recognisable by the new labelling with metallic blue lettering the 2020 versions once again improve of 2019 specs by offering better power and runtime. Intellect offer a huge range of batteries for all applications and required weights for perfect chassis balance and centre of gravity with every battery having a burst current of 120C and LIHV technology. The new packs are BRCA/EFRA legal as of April 1st 2020 with the stick range including the following specifications: 2S 10000mAh 25.1mm, 2S 8400mAh 25.1mm, 2S 7600mAh 25.1mm, 2S 7000mAh 22.5mm, 2S 6000mAh 22.5mm, and 2S 5600mAh 19.5mm. The 2020 shorty range includes the following specifications: 3S 4200mAh 25.1mm, 2S 6200mAh 25.1mm, 2S 5000mAh 25.1mm, 2S 4400mAh 20mm, and a 2S 4200mAh 18.5mm . The range is rounded out by a 1S 8200mAh and a 1S 6600mAh Shorty.

Absima Cube 2.0 AC multi-chemistry charger

Absima from Germany have introduced their forthcoming new Cube 2.0 AC multi-chemistry charger. Of a simple design the compact device allows to charge 2S and 3S LiXX as well as one to eight-cell NiXX batteries, making it ideal especially for nitro racers who can conveniently fill modern transmitter as well as receiver batteries without having to carry around full-blown competition chargers. The display-less charger is less prone to be damaged due to dust and dirt with charge current selection being carried out by a simple sliding switch. An integrated 2S to 3S LiPo balancer makes for secure charging of Lithium batteries while the auto-detect NiXX program allows to charge old school NiMH battery packs. The charger comes including connection wires and it will hit stores in March.

Hudy tiny one-piece hardware box

Hudy have announced the release of their new tiny 8-compartment one-piece hardware box. Ideal to store small items such as nuts, shims, washers and pins, the tough, durable, and translucent plastic box features eight compartments of two different sizes, each with a separate latching cover. The box measures 100x63mm, it is decorated with Hudy graphics to make it stand out and it comes without the hardware visible in the alternative image.
