Traxxas WideMaxx suspension kit

Traxxas have announced the soon release of the new WideMaxx suspension kit for the Maxx 1/10th scale monster truck. Available in six dynamic colours, the WideMaxx kit extends the track out by 20mm per side allowing drivers to bury the throttle in the turns, soak up even more extreme terrain, and come out the other side ready for more. The WideMaxx kit consists of extended versions of the Maxx’s extreme-duty cold-weather suspension arms and additionally, new springs are included for the rear of the truck to dial in the suspension settings, while the original rear springs move to the front for optimum balance and performance. Finally, a set of wider toe links for the front finish out the new widened stance.

Smart-Workshop Smart Tire Truer

Smart-Workshop have introduced their new next generation Smart Tire Truer. The device allows to store up to six customisable profiles for different diameters, camber angles and carcass radius values with programming being carried out using a colour touch screen display. Cutting is performed using a heavy-duty cutting bit for high accuracy and a short processing time while an emergency stop button located on the side of the truer adds a handy safety feature. The truing motor and electronic board are protected by two separated fuses to make sure all the parts work in a safe environment. The Smart Tire Truer will come in an exclusive box that ensures the device is protected in the best possible way during storage and carrying.

Awesomatix 1/12th scale pan car in the making?

Awesomatix, known for their very popular and successful electric touring cars, are working on their first ever 1/12th scale pan car kit according to an anonymous source. The car is meant to sport some very unique details – as it can be excepted from the company – however no official details are available yet nor is an official statement from Awesomatix. According to our source the car above is an early prototype with the actual kit being meant to look more refined. Looking at the event’s entry list, the prototype will be in use at the forthcoming 2020 IFMAR 1/12th scale Worlds in the UK next week with Awesomatix sending some of their touring car aces to giving the car a proper introduction.

Fenix Mistral 1 & X1 low nose chassis

Coming from Fenix are two new carbon fibre chassis for the Fenix Mistral 1 and Xray X1 that allow to use the Tamiya F103 #50503 front end. Using the chassis will enable the owner to use low nose body shells such as the Fenix Classic Team Lotus 78 or the Fenix March 761 while still driving a state of the art car. Both chassis are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they are available from now on.

Yeah Racing SCX10 II chassis upgrade set

Coming from Yeah Racing is a chassis upgrade set for the Axial SCX10 II trail truck. Included are front and rear hard-coated aluminium axle housings, stainless steel front and rear centre drive shafts, a full stainless steel link set as well as a stainless steel skid plate. The parts are add ons or replacements for the standard items, adding durability and much needed weight.

Arena RC A800 caster tool

Arena RC have announced the release of their new caster tool for the Awesomatix A800 touring cars. The 3-D-printed dongles fit right to the uprights of the A800 series cars and are usable with Hudy or similar setup systems, allowing for easy caster value checks or adjustment which is further helped by the orange colour that makes for a good contrast against dark setup tools with a dark surface.

Trinity D8.5 40mm aluminium cooling fan

Trinity have introduced their new 40mm aluminium cooling fan set that was designed to snap snugly into the outer grooves of the D8.5 motor. Included are a blue anodised aluminium fan mount as well as a 40mm aluminium cooling fan including mounting hardware. The fan features a heatsink design for cool looks and additional heat dissipation as well as an all-black wire for a stealthy factory appearance. While being a direct fit to the can of the D8.5 motor it also fits the older spec D8.

Samix Enduro rear chassis H brace

Coming from Samix and made for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks is an aluminium rear chassis H brace. Stronger than the original plastic part the brace helps to reinforce the whole chassis assembly while adding a touch of colour as it is available in five different surface anodisings including blue, gun metal, silver, green and black. The brace is machined from high-quality aluminium and a direct fit using the included hardware.
