JConcepts S15 RC8B3.1 body shell

JConcepts have introduced their S15 body shell for the popular Team Associated RC8B3.1 1/8th scale buggy. The S15 blends performance features of the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabiliser kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. The engine area remains clean and a deep rooted position allows the engine head maximum side exposure to air and escape. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Team Associated RC8B3.1 and other kit variants. For the precise fit, the design has undergone changes to match the Team Associated chassis side-guards and body mount positioning. The S15 stance cockpit allows ample fuel tank access, a smoother high-speed windshield transition which tackles even the most high-speed conditions. The hard edged chamfering provides the classic JConcepts look while also delivering aero benefits and perfect decal positioning. Included with each body come window masks and a decal sheet.

Xray T4’20 1.6mm carbon fibre upper deck

Coming from Xray and made for their all-new T4 2020 mid-motor touring car kit is a 1.6mm carbon fibre upper deck. Thinner than the kit top deck the 1.6mm variant is best used in combination with the aluminium flex or solid chassis as it allows for a softer overall chassis setting compared to the 2.0mm part which helps especially in lower grip conditions where a softer setting can improve steering and rear side bite. Like the original top deck the thinner variant is fully symmetrical and usable with the rear ball bearing or bushing chassis stiffeners to further fine-tune the overall chassis flex.

Yeah Racing M08 carbon fibre optionals

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Tamiya M08 M-chassis kit are several new carbon fibre option parts. The range includes front and rear damper stays, a front bumper plate as well as a body mount base set. All parts are a direct fit and while looking a lot better than the standard plastic items, they also help with overall rigidity and precision, adding to the overall performance – in case of the damper stays – while also helping with more secure body mounting for less wobbling and thus better aerodynamics, in case of the front bumper plate and body mount base set.
