Xray T4F 2.0mm aluminium main chassis plate

Xray have announced the release of their new 2.0mm aluminium chassis for the T4F FWD touring car kit. Machined from 2mm 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised, the chassis will limit the overall chassis flex compared to using the standard carbon fibre chassis, making the car easier to drive in medium to high-bite traction conditions. The increased overall stability will ensure better car control while also adding cool looks thanks to laser-etched Xray logos.

Shepherd Team Edition v2 clutch

Team Shepherd have introduced an update for their well known Team Edition clutch in form of the tuning clutch Team Edition v2 which is suitable for the Velox V8.2 and other 1/8 nitro on-road cars. This updated clutch set is meant to offer excellent performance without any compromises by using Shepherd’s famous extra hard clutch spring as well as a coated aluminium clutch bell. Furthermore it is featuring a black anodised 7075-T6 aluminium flywheel, a shiny aluminium pressure plate, special compound fly weights and a yellow PTFE clutch shoe. This clutch will deliver consistent engagement and a powerful acceleration out of the corner. To complete the set high quality bearings and the needed fastening materials and shims are included as well.

Yokomo YZ-114 Plus AC/DC charger

Coming soon from Yokomo is their new YZ-114 Plus AC/DC charger. With its 100W charge circuitry the device is good for charge currents of up to 12A while being compact in size, taking only a small amount of pit space. The charger offers several charge modes including balance, fast and storage charging, it incorporates a 5V/2.1A USB output and is future-ready thanks to an LiHV charge mode for the latest generation of LiPo cells. Monitoring the battery’s vital signs is made easy thanks to the back-lit display.

Xray XB2’20 alloy rear roll centre holder

Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised for surface protection and a factory look, the part offers greater stability and durability while offering three different inner camber link ball stud positions and the ability to use a rear anti-roll bar.

RC Arlos Factory tease new drift car body shell

RC Arlos Factory from The Netherlands have released first renderings of their forthcoming new 2-door drift car body shell. Designed for 258mm wheelbase chassis the body resembles a hopped-up German 2-door sedan, featuring a hefty front splitter, add-on wheel arches and a huge rear wing. The body is set for a release in January 2020 and more images will become available soon.

SWorkz S12/S14 Black Competition shock springs

SWorkz have introduced their new Back Competition line of 1/10th scale off-road springs. The design of the springs makes for a more linear performance, improving the vehicle’s jumping, landing and corner speeds, event in bumpy track conditions. The springs, that are usable for SWorkz’s S12 2WD and S14 4WD lines of buggies, come with laser-engraved markings for easy identification and they are available in three hardnesses for the front and rear each.

New Mon-Tech Racing FWD body shell – Coming soon

Mon-Tech Racing have released a first preview image of their forthcoming new FWD touring car body shell. Styled using design cues of a popular European-made hatchback the body will feature a classic FWD touring car design with huge fenders, a large front splitter and a scale-looking silhouette. Full details will become available by next Wednesday, the 11th of December, when Mon-Tech will officially unveil the new lid.

Avid NB48 2.0 carbon fibre shock towers

Avid have announced the release of their new carbon fibre shock towers for the Tekno RC NB48 2.0 buggy. The 5mm carbon shock stays are made from 100 percent carbon fibre, they feature a matte finish and cutouts for a nice look. In addition they are slightly chamfered on the front side to help avoid splitting or chipping on hard wrecks. They mimic the standard suspension geometry and remove about 33 of weight compared to the standard aluminium towers. The front and rear towers are sold separately or as a set.
