Exotek TLR22 5.0 heavy duty 7075 alloy diff case

From Exotek comes another heavy duty machined 7075 alloy differential case, this time for the TLR 5.0 G2 diff. Perfect machined roundness makes for a free spinning transmission and a must have for high powered drag racing applications and extra internal machining allows for extra fluid to be added for increased fluid capacity and life. This is much stronger than the stock plastic diff gear but not indestructible so it is important to use black or white grease on the gears and reapply frequently to prolong its life.

JConcepts 1989 Ford Bronco MT body

JConcepts likes to lean on its roots, and dating back, there hasn’t been an RC monster truck version of the Ford Bronco available, until now. Starting with the F-150 and F-250 body shells already in the line-up, the JConcepts team dug into the Bronco project with some knowledge of the game. The 1989 Ford Bronco body built and fit for RC monster truck lovers offers first class styling and its exterior is accentuated with a smooth and molded front bumper. The 1989 Bronco carries over the same body style from the previous generation yet sports a new rounded front clip that improves vehicle aerodynamics over its predecessors. The softened body lines around the cab which transition to the Bronco’s rear roof seem very seamlessly and full of vintage grunt. Large fender flares around the wheel wells provide the scale monster truck look and clearance for JConcepts Racing Tires.

Team Associated RC10B6.4 Team Kit

Team Associated’s RC10B6.4 platform continues the trend of offering two kit configurations. Both kits include the next generation 13mm diameter big-bore shocks and springs to provide the ultimate in damping and stability. The larger diameter shocks reduce pressure inside the shock and minimise the effects of the shaft displacement. This allows the buggy to feel like it’s riding on an invisible cloud when you hit harsh jumps and landings. The chassis, front end, and steering system is optimised for running reduced caster and kickup, which excels on high speed, high grip surfaces. An updated steering system with adjustable height bellcranks helps racers minimise bumpsteer. In addition, the front suspension is equipped with new -1mm kingpin offset steering and caster blocks for smooth and predictable front end feel through the entire throw. The -1mm design pushes the steering pivot closer the centre of the front tire, keeping the front end flat through the entire steering throw.

Rêve D Revox RWD steering gyro

Rêve D’s first RWD drift servo gyro, called Revox, is finally ready for release. It features a new ‘gyro curve setting’ function, which following repeated tests in various situations with many different drift specific servos, enables the user to change the initial curve value in 6 stages according to skill, track surface conditions, track layout and so on. The optimum setting is simply made by clicking the setup switch. The aluminum case has a lightweight and compact design taking up very little space in the car. A programming card can be used to set all of the gyro curve functions, endpoint function and reverse switching.

JConcepts Landmines pre-mounted for Traxxas UDR

JConcepts now offer their Landmines performance scale tire for the Traxxas UDR. Available pre-mounted on the new Tremor Traxxas UDR front & rear wheel, which is also available seperately, the design starts with a robust carcass carefully shaped and sized for a multitude of conditions and capable of bashing those difficult courses while being down-to-earth enough to carry a scale appearance. The team spent considerable time with the split-block center design which has been sliced, stepped, and recessed for flexibility and contortion over sharp, loose, and polished surfaces. The Landmines have alternating solid and cavity pads which is ideal for transitioning from smooth dirt or pavement into dirt, mud, and rocky terrain. Moving toward the edges of the carcass, the tire has horizonal grippy pads with edge and channels to provide additional forward bite. Down within the tread, a lightning pattern, knob plots and connector bars pull the design together to work together at shallow and deep sinking positions. Once power is applied to the vehicle, the tread spacing opens which allows for deep digging, making it a great working tire in dirt and muddy conditions. As the tread rolls down the sidewall, a whole new course of tread and side-lugging is applied. A grippy radial ring provides a consistent rubber contact patch in high-speed conditions while in the vertical plane, new traction bars alternate between angular and island mapping for additional grip.

Ulimate MXS Ceramic engine

Ultimate Racing have introduced the follow up to the successful M3X engine with the release of their new 3 port .21 Off-Road Ultimate MXS Ceramic Competition Engine. Like its predecessor, the MXS is made by O.S. Engines and it’s based on their square stroke Speed B21 Ty Tessmann II edition engine but has some modifications on the crankshaft as well as on the back plate to improve performance. This engine has more power and returns to idle way better than its predecessor. The cooling head has been redesigned and while not as low as the B2102 lower profile, it is lighter so it keeps the center of gravity as low as the B2102 but improving its performance on high temperatures. The backplate has been updated to improve the gas flow going to the piston and improving engine efficiency and performance. The crankshaft of the MXS is an evolution of the DLC B2102 but with two balanced tungsten in order to increase the inertia to rotation. Also available as Team Edition and combo with the EFRA 2141 or 2142 pipes.

Schumacher Icon 2 1/10th Competition F1 car

Schumacher have introduced their new Icon 2, 1/10th Competition Formula car. The Icon platform is BRCA National winning and MICC championship dominating. Thanks to this and a vast amount of racing experience from their strong team of drivers and engineering team, the Icon 2 is the natural evolution of an already fantastic chassis. It boasts a wide range of new refinements to increase performance, reduce lap times and improve durability beginning with a new gear differential offering improved cornering ability in the majority of conditions. On power steering is improved along with corner entry stability. The car will also drive much flatter and have more predictability in high traction conditions. The ball differential can still be used and is likely to be an improvement only in very low traction conditions. The is also a new left hand rear wheel clamp design. This new one piece, rotationally balanced design is lighter, simpler and the perfect match for our new gear differential. It may also be used with the ball differential. An all new design for the rear wing mounting assembly, features 7075 Aluminium lower, and C/F upper components. Style, centre of gravity, durability and stiffness has been improved in this area. Other new items include V2 damper rods with a much larger internal hole diameter, new side link mounts for increased durability, new front end chassis posts for increased durability, and a new simplified and stylish front wing mounting using thread inserts.
