dBoots Terrabyte 1/10th scale off road tires

RC Disco in the UK have announced the dBoots tire range which has been developed over the last 6 months and the first tire, the Terrabyte, is now available. Produced for 2wd & 4wd 1/10th off road, more designs are expected to be available in the coming months for 1/10th scale, Short Course and 8th scale, and we hope to also bring you those releases as we get them. Already the control tire for the Ardent Raceway off road winter series, it has proven itself to work well and is already finding strong support in Multi-Surface conditions, Astroturf and Grass Tracks across the country.

RC4wd Baja Claw TTC 1.9″ offroad tire

RC4wd has teamed up with Mickey Thompson tires to bring you this huge new offroad tire. As RC4wd promised, they have brought out several licensed tires and this is only the beginning. The new Baja Claw TTC, is a tried and true offroad tire and stand in at 4.75″ tall. This true replica of the 1:1 Baja Claw TTC tire was specially built for Top Truck Challenges.

Losi Blockhead G2 & BK Bar G2 tires

Losi have released two new 1/8th scale buggy tires, the Blockhead G2 tire and the BK Bar G2 tire, both in green compound. The intermediate Blockhead tread pattern bridges the gap between the Kingpin G2 and Eclipse tires, excellent on medium loam conditions with excellent wear characteristics in hard packed track conditions. The BK Bar G2 offers superior side bite and impeccable forward traction on hard packed tracks. Its unique tread design has tremendous structural support allowing the tire to live exceptionally longer than other smaller pin tires.

Yokomo R12 tire truer wheel adapter

Yokomo have been in touch to tell us about the new tire truer wheel adapter for their newly available R12 1/12th scale foam pre mounted tires. As the rear wheels have a different offset to all of those found on the market, it needs this special adapter to work with your current tire truer.

Pro-Line now offer their M3 Sniper buggy tire pre mounted on V2 white wheels. Using the same design philosophy and technology as the Hole Shot, but scaled up to work on looser and dustier track conditions the Sniper offers awesome forward traction and side bite on a variety of track conditions. The bigger pins also provide longer wear, giving you lasting traction through long A-mains. Suitable for Slash rear, Slash 4×4 & Blitz front or rear.

World Racing Car foam tires

Italian company World Racing Car have released their own series of pre mounted foam tires. Available for the 1/10th and 1/8th scale, the former are compatible with F1 chassis’ such as as the F104 and F103, while the 1/8th tires work with most available gas on road cars. Available in the usual range of shore hardness’.
