Following on from yesterday’s release by Team Titan of a body shell for the new GPR 230mm class, comes new tires from Italian company Matrix Racing Tires. Made using their usual high quality foam, these new tires have been fitted to 32mm wide front tires and 44mm wide rear tires, and come available in all the usual shores you would expect.

Retaining the realistic look the tires are completely detailed with center lug all-terrain inspired tread and side wall. Combining a totally unique step pin and bar lug design with sticky green compound to allow even greater control on off-road surfaces. The Goose Bumps are a special breed, designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body. Once the driver wears through the initial pin, a bar follows to maximize potential on aggressive surfaces. The Goose Bumps incorporate a compact tire body with a crisp tread pattern with precise separation for intense short course racing competition. In new condition they excel on soft surfaces with either dry or wet conditions. Worn Goose Bumps excel on indoor or outdoor clay tracks where a slight groove has formed.

More new releases from Italian tire manufacturer ATS, who have unveiled their new rain tire series, called Wet. Perfect for the North European summer, they are made using a new softer insert as well as a new improved rubber cap, the profile has also been modified from previous versions to have a new profile to provide better grip and little or no wearing in the rain. Available in 1/8th scale for both the front and rear, they come on wheels suitable for Mugen, Kyosho and Serpent axles and are also available for 1/10th scale cars too.

World Champions ATS Tyres in Italy have released a new range of yellow coloured 1/12th scale rims. Identical in design to the current range of CRC wheels, these versions have been made from a new material which gives the car better grip and makes it easier to drive. The foam used with the tires remains the same high quality as before but the hardnesses have been adjusted to reflect the more popular compounds.

Much More have been keeping busy lately with a whole bunch of releases, the latest being their new Sweep Dirt Effect 1/8th scale buggy tires. Their design provides good traction, excellent rough track handling and a comfortable feel and are available in Sweep’s blue and red compound with produces stability, traction and reasonable wear. These tires offer less sidewall flex, improved response, more forward bite and offer an overall saving of weight, coming in at just 56 grams per tire. Available unmounted or pre mounted on either white or yellow wheels, they are held in place using Much More’s V-made instant glue.

New from Florida based JConcepts are 3 new tires types, Sevens, Crowbars & Crossbows. Sevens are a result of 2-years of research and development on the world and national 1/8th buggy circuit. They incorporate the small pin design of the Double Dee’s combined with directional and functional undertones which produce increased grip while reducing wear. Wear is always the trade off when going to a small pin tire and with the Sevens these worries are a thing of the past. Running qualifiers and main events on the same quick tire is now possible. Combining the unique Sevens lug technology with the sticky yellow and blue compound allow the flexibility necessary to compete on even the most demanding surfaces for an extended period of time. These new tires excel on hard packed or blue groove conditions where the track surface has started to take rubber. Available in Medium Yellow or Soft Blue compounds.

Xceed RC have announced the release of a new range of Italian made foam tires for 1/10th scale 200mm gas cars. The new tires are sold on super lightweight wheels that have been made from a lightweight, yet strong material, and the wheel now sports a new twin 6 spoke design to further lighten the wheel. Available in 26mm and 30mm widths, they come pre glued in 32, 35, 37, 40, 42 and 45 shores.
