Volante have announced the release of their new Bronze Tire Traction compound especially developed for the use in low to medium grip conditions. The tyre sauce is usable with both rubber and foam tyres and it will provide exceptional traction without accelerating tyre wear. The odourless formula of the traction compound allows the use at indoor tracks and it comes in large 40ml applicator pen bottles.

Pro-Line have introduced their new Resistor 2.2” off-road buggy rear tyres as well as their Wedge Gen 3 2.2” carpet front tyres. Starting with the all-new Resistor tyre, based on the popular carcass shape and futuristic directional tread design of the Positron, the Resistor takes performance up another level with improved side bite and balanced traction on indoor clay tracks. The tread design of the new tyre pays homage to the Positron for a familiar Pro-Line signature look and each bar has been positioned and angled for maximum race performance. The Resistor is directional, which adds another tuning option for the racers always looking for that extra edge since it will perform differently depending on which direction it is run. The tyre includes blue closed cell inserts and it comes in MC clay or M4 super soft rubber compounds.
Coming soon from Volante are their new V7T Revolution touring car rubber tyres. The latest evolution of the popular tyre range will become available in 32R and 36R rubber, pre-glued on white dish or realistic 7-spoke rims and also as non-glued dish wheel variant. All sets include four wheels and they will hit stores soon.

Team Bomber from Japan have introduced their new orange/yellow dual compound foam tyres for 1/12th scale pan cars. Developed for the use in stock classes or in high-bite track conditions, the dual compound foam utilises the proven standard orange and the rubber-based yellow foams to achieve even greater performance while overcoming many disadvantages associated with using dual compound tyres. The set includes six pre-cut tyres that are usable on almost every 1/12th scale rear rim.

Coming soon from Sweep are their new EXP-24S touring car rubber tyres for the use in low “winter” temperatures. Making use of the EXP-R2 carcass, the new 24S compound excels especially in low ambient and track temperatures and despite being on the very soft side, it provides consistent performance without a drop in performance toward the end of a run. The tyres come in sets of four, premounted on white dish wheels and including inserts.

JConcepts have announced their Ellipse 1/8th buggy and truggy tyres are now also available in Blue, Green and Aqua compounds. The Ellipse, named after the center bar built into the tread, is a compliment to successful tyres such as the Dirt Webs and Bar Codes. The “Web” style tyre was built to compete on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces which require a finely detailed connected bar pattern. The centre section of the tyre is a home run utilising a diamond “home plate” footprint to provide massive forward bite and increased longevity. The web of extensions are unique and have a directional touch giving the racer the ultimate tune-ability. The buggy tyre fits all standard 1/8th buggy rims while the truggy variant was developed for 1/8th 4.0” truck rims.
Pro-Line have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming all-new Resistor 1/10th buggy tyre. Meant to offer the next level of race performance, the tyre will feature a futuristic directional tread design with each bar positioned and angled for maximum performance.
