Gravity RC Touring Car Sidewall Glue Trace kit

Gravity RC have introduced the Touring Car Sidewall Glue Trace kit. The set is used to consistently mark the sidewall of front touring car tyres in preparation for CA glue application, which is used to help prevent grip rolling on carpet. Tracing the outside of the disk with the included paint marker provides you with a consistent and defined line which serves as a visual boundary while applying CA glue up the sidewall. The 58.5mm disc is the recommended trace for lower grip conditions while the 59.5mm disc is the recommended trace for medium to high grip conditions. Included in the kit is one 58.5mm disc, one 59.5mm disk, one silver paint marker, as well as a fastener to secure the disc to the outside of the tyre.

Hot Race Tyres introduce special clay compounds

Hot Race Tyres from Italy have introduced their new clay rubber compounds. Developed especially with the demanding clay-type tracks in mind, the rubber will extract the maximum traction and performance from the tyre and it will become available in soft and hard compounds for both the existing range of 1/8th treads and also the new 1/10th buggy tyres.

HRC Racing StreetFighter monster truck tyres

HRC Distribution have introduced the HRC Racing StreetFighter tyres for 1/10th monster trucks. Utilising 6-spoke rims with 14mm hex adapters, the tyres are a direct fit on the Team Magic E5 series trucks but they also fit a range of other vehicles. Thanks to the on-road tread the tyres are ideal for street racing or running on packed dirt surfaces.

Capricorn One 30sh touring car carpet tyres

Italian company Capricorn has introduced the new One long-life touring car carpet tyres. The 30 shore tyres feature a reinforced sidewall for more consistency and a longer life span. They come in sets of four and with special graphics on the rims, making them ideal as hand-out tyres for sanctioned racing.

Flash Point R/C pre-mounted 1/8th GT tyres

Coming from Flash Point R/C are pre-mounted high-grip belted 1/8th GT tyres. They feature a reinforced inner belt to provide increased stability and precision and they are available in soft 40 and super soft 35 rubber compound. The tyres come pre-mounted on white or black Flash Point Seven wheels and fit most 1/8th GT and rally game cars.

Procircut Claymore 1/8th buggy tyre

The latest in the line of Procircuit’s all-new 1/8th buggy tyres is the Claymore. A mash of the previous Square Impact and Hot Dices treads the new tyre features the Square Impact’s pin pattern made up using larger pins similar to the Hot Dices tread. The tyre will excel on clean or slightly dusty tracks and it has already proven its performance by allowing Robert Batlle to grab the runner-up spot at the 2016 IFMAR Worlds in Las Vegas. The tyre will come pre-glued on yellow dish rims, including the new XL insert and in super soft, soft and medium compounds.

Procircuit Sprinter 1/8th buggy tyre

Next in the line of Procircuit’s revamped series of 1/8th buggy tyres is the Sprinter. An evolution of the popular Road Runner, the tyre features a distinctive split block tread that will give a consistent handling on a variety of surfaces including bumpy and loose outdoor tracks. Designed especially for racing on tracks with an abrasive surface, the dense tread will also offer exceptional durability and wear characteristics in hard-packed and polished conditions or when a dust layer makes for excessive wheel spin. The tyre is available pre-glued on yellow dish wheels and in P1 super-soft white, P2 soft yellow and P3 medium orange compounds, including the new XL insert for improved overall performance and a more consistent handling.
